Current release of C99
I had read that female seeds had to remake their c99 after a bust caused them to loose the parental stock. Can anyone verify that and possibly when the new release came out??
I am looking to replace my long lost c99. The pics leading up until 2014 look identical. Has anyone grown out both the first release as well as the new stuff for comparison? Much Thanks LT

I ran Gno3 Cinderella 99 and have crosses from that line which was made by the breeder from FMS. I found my grail in that line. I am simply asking about the differences if any from the original FMS release and the current availability if there is any difference or not.
SO, once again..... Does anyone know if female seeds lost the original parents of their c99 and if so how does the newest release compare?

I'm not hating on Bros Grimm, c99 is one of my all time fav strains but if you're looking for the pineapple pheno then the truest representation is female seeds c99 as it is from the original clone...Sexbud is from this line..
If you want the fruit punch, babypoo or grapefruit pheno then moscas c99 bx1 is what you want, the pineapple can be found in them too Yes FemaleSeeds did lose some parental stock but C99 has not changed at all. There are issues with other strains like Grapefruit & the strains that were lost have disappeared from the menu like cinnamon etc So Lost Tribe, have you told Mr Soul about your dissapointment ?? Peace |

Hey LT. Their new version of Cindy has been out few years now and imo, it doesn't look exactly like the original X-line release, but i haven't personally grown the new version. Alot of those X-C99s people were growing back then looked much like the two of mine that were almost identical, but to me the new version looks abit different. Can't remember the year when they lost the original parents, but i think the seeds were already sold out when i grew that Cindy pictured in your Grimm-thread in 2008/9-ish. Here's a poor quality picture of what that X-line Cindy's top/cola looked like. This one was heavily topped/lst'd. ..think i lost the original photos with my old computer dying.

I got an email back from female seeds about the current c99. They stated the bust was in 2007 in fact and most of the pics I have seen are from 2011 and newer so that would tell me that the current release is very close to the original gno3 without actually smoking any just from the pics and my failing memory.
I normally don't do the whole fem seed thing but grabbed a pack to run against grimm for comparison.

Hi, Lost Tribe.
Can you shed some light on the difference between the Fem seeds c99 and Bros Grimm? I am about to buy a pack of Bros Grimm Original C99, looking for that fruity sweet, heavenly floral fruity pineapply flavor i had found in Wallyduck's c99, but lost years ago when someone stole my seed jar. Can you recommend which breeder's c99 is superior? thanks

Hi, FYI I ran FS C99 last 4 years, same with NevilleHaze. Never found the same plants last year as compared to 3 previous years, so this year I skipped both of them in my selection. Shame...
Could be bad luck, dono. Just My personal experience. Cheers
