When I was in Amsterdam,Dutchgrown told me to check into Vaportek's website for odor control.
I did.
It kicks ASS.

Imo F*CK 1000CFM loud-as-hell carbon-filters,this stuff works A++++

It'll EASILY do an 8'x12' room FULL of flowers.

Way to go Rez! Glad to see you remembered to look the info up once back from 420. And act upon it, and to see it doing the job for you is even better

I originally came across this product through someone who was in the medical field and told me how well it worked in high aroma areas (like the morgue), etc.etc.etc. *dg's stomach turns*

Then in Holland I saw the same company selling a canister type air controller at the grow shop here. From the first grow I ever did in the dam...it's always SOP....use Vaportec and there will be no smell, and with a carbon filter....non-existent! Now that's peace of mind.

WOW, I'm glad i found this. I was thinking about adding a Ozone generator and i'm really thinking about getting one of these Vaportek's units. Thanks for the info Rez and DutchGrown.

Edit: www.altgarden.com sells them. It's on page 35, but it said "no catridge" with the Optimum 4000. So , i'm guessing you got to buy a cartridge with the unit. The unit is priced at $168.95 and the replacement cartridge are $48.95. I thought i would help those looking. I'm going to buy one for the Sour Bubble i'm testing for BOG and see how well it works. But the real test will be against the NYCD. I might have to post a DEATH match on that one. Thanks, again for the Info. I'd love to get rid of my big fan and scrubber.

damn and all this time I've just been over feeding all the stray cats, so they hang out around my house

...that way if someone walks by and catches a strong wiff of my garden, then sees a cat...
they blame the damn cats for the funky smell, before thinking twice about whats really making the funk

hmmm interesting, I'm gonna be going for an 80 plant (3-4 gal pot) grow in the (hopefully) not to distant future, so I'm gonna have to look into this!

Pittbull is back in actions.

I'm also going to buy a unit and give it a try. I'm hoping it works well, so i can get rid of my scrubber. I'm also hopping this unit can handle th smell from my NYCD, god do they smell when flowering. Glad to see you are Pittbull, I'm going to give those beans a whirl around later winter early spring. I'll drop you a line when i germ them.

I've been using one for about 2 years, had a buddy that was a doctor that told me about it. It works great, I've never needs a carbon filter. Just my $0.02

BTW my fav aromatic essences is Ocean, but I get the Classic Neutrals for free

Thanks Hitman, glad someone is already using one. I use a carbon scrubber and want to get rid of it. I'm going to pick up on of these units and give it a try. How long do the cartridges last you before you have to cahnge them?
