Well the State has moved the date back to July now. This will throw off the cycle for the first grow. I may end up doing an all indica run to keep it short. I will have to wait for next April to start sativa dominant strains. With only one greenhouse to start with. I don't see three cycles of flowering. Peace

Kenan Bullinger has been appointed as director of ND State Marijuana program. I have reached out to Kenan to offer assistance for implementing and operations help. I will follow up with any other updates that may transpire. Peace

What's the job market like in ND? And, no, I don't want the oil field pitch. Lol.
Congratulations and thank you for posting all this info! One step closer up there!

Blowingupjake, Well Any of the larger cities should have ample work. Yes the oilfield is still going. Higher prices that are staying steady is helping. I'm in my 26th year now in the oil patch. Williston and the surrounding areas are still expensive to live in. Minot, Grand Forks, Fargo and Bismarck are all more reasonable. I'm glad spring is close. This past winter was very hard on me. Hoping still to start growing for a living. ND is putting the brakes on implementing at every creative turn it can dream up. Peace

They sure are. There are too many issues to even address them right now. Simply put, they are over complicating everything. For how few qualified patients we will have, you alone could meet the needs of the entire state, but will you be the one? I'd love to live the dream in my home state as well and wish you all the best. I have lost desire to consume the plant, but cultivation is a passion that hasn't gone away. I'd like to be a poster boy of MMJ gone right, but they are going to make it impossible. They will have 101 reasons to throw even the most honest person in jail if they get rubbed the wrong way. And all that may be is a simple request to amend the laws for practical need.

There was a second symposium in Bismarck a few weeks back. A school teacher from a small community. Went to show support and speak up for MMJ. The next day the police had a warrant to search his home for drugs. He didn't smoke or have anything on his property. None the less they felt the need to harass the poor guy. Peace

Hello again my friends. Well the State is still pretending Measure 5 never happened. Legal road blocks are common place. Elected officials feel impervious to the voters will. They only will be until the next election in two years. Many of them that have opposed measure 5 will be running again in 2018. They will surely be remembered. VOTE NO !
I hope that there are many people contacting their legislators encouraging them to support medical marijuana. Recreational marijuana is only a vote away. Peace |

Almost there for medical. Not very exciting details, but something none the less. Too bad Canada is just now making the push for federal recreational use. If cops have time to waste searching public advocates then hopefully they can catch all the pests bringing Canada bud here. Or at least give us some headlines so we can advocate for rec here because them fuckin Canadians will be takin our jobs! |

Catman, I hear you. So many growers sale out to short cuts for production. It's such a shame. In time there will be a strain refined to heal those that smoked poorly grown weed. There is no place for beasters. But without their very low quality offerings. It's that much easier for people to see the quality of a passionately grown plant. Unfortunately ND with it's $100,000 license fee is pushing quantity over quality before the first license is sold. Peace
