Gnarls' Grow Journal
I don't want to spam out the Desert Southwest Growers Union thread so I figured I'd make my own.
My goal has been lights on by September, we shall see if I make that goal though as I still have a lot of work to do. Right now I am building my new grow room, it will house 10, 1000e DE Gavitas. Still need to dig a trench and lay my new electrical and wire up a new box since I'll be pulling around 50+amps just from the lights on 240v. ![]() ![]() Obviously more to come, can't wait to actually just get to the actual growing part of this, I do not like building :P |

Room is almost done, gonna snap some pics later if I remember and upload them here. Planning to have it all finished up this upcoming weekend.
In the mean time I figured now is the time to drop some beans so I started that process Friday. ![]() Put all my seeds in old weed pill style bottles by strain so I can keep them separate, some started showing their taproot yesterday, some more today and some still have yet to. Used Reverse Osmosis water with a very very very light feeding of General Hydroponics Rapid Start for my Rapid Rooter plugs to soak in, and just plain Reverse Osmosis water for the seeds. Once taproots started to expose themselves transplant root side down, rip off some peat moss from the bottom of the plug and fill in the hole, label and wait. |
