Outdoor 215 Grow 2016

Hello Everyone. This is my 2016 grow, and entry to the ICMag 2016 Outdoor Grow Contest.

Ill Start it off with the end of the outdoor winter grow when a Volunteer plant popped up out of the compost pile and i planted it in a #1 nursery pot with either something like sunshine mix or reused soil.
Here is the volunteer either the day of or after planting into the #1 pot.

That picture of the volunteer was taken January 25th. Heres the Volunteer on February 26th

Heres a bagseed Cheese clone in a Subirrigated planter growing at the same time with a peat and perlite based soil mix. Strong plants but didn't keep these cuts around anymore after that. There were a few of them.
Pics were taken on May 6th and 7th

2 different bagseed cuts in one SIP

Cloned some of the outdoor plants and put them in this 4th cycle notill container. I never planted any cover crops in it. Its been all natural the whole way. I just use water and an ocassional EM innoculation. Pic was taken on March 10th

Alien Orange Cookies outdoor. Pic taken March 11th. This was our last grow before the seedlings and new clones were planted into their full term pots.

ACDC 3 days before chop. This was March 15th

March 18th ACDC harvest.

Tall Ligerberry Pheno on either the day of or before harvest. April 16th

Alien Orange Cookies on April 16th

Alien Orange Cookies on April 26th just a week before harvest would have taken place. Unfortunately the flavors of this cut were too irresistible to the budworm at the end and they decimated it.

This is where the Winter grow stops when the cheeses also hermed.lol And then the Outdoor full term grow really begins to take off.

Another volunteer Grows as i left some seeds by the brick walkway and forgot. i found one germinated with a nice tail so i planted it. So this Volunteers genetics unlike the others genetics is no mystery at all. This one is bagseed Cheese x Bagseed Wreck. I think she will be a lady though.

Heres a Big Bud clone on April 23rd. She is probobly 2 months old or a little younger. In the picture she was in a 3 gallon pot.

The Original Volunteer almost 3 months old! She is a little small because i never took her out of the #1 pot. It was sort of an experiment and to see if she could live off half an inch of compost mixed with cover crop. occasional EM innoculations, and she did very well actually!

Platinum Purple cut only about 4 days old out of the clone dome and put into 10 gallons of notill!

We Would have planted earlier in the season but chopped down everything to take clones for some farm we ended up leaving a week later.
So I would have liked to get plants in their pots in April but had to postpone until may.
We Joined the farm because of a ban on collective grows in our area, but that didn't go well.

We butchered the whole garden of vegging plants of every genetic and then the farmers let the clones die after we left them with it.
What were we going to do with 400 clones??? They didn't bother reimbursing us even though we left them with perfectly good cuts.
Now they are upset at their own lack of progress even though they had everything we have and more to do it with.
When i left they said You can't handle the work! LOL So this is where Everything changes and we show our skills.
Our first collective can't continue so we joined another farm, came back empty handed from that, but used the situation to inspire me and my buddy to have badass grows of our own again.

Heres the Planting of the Volunteer on May 7th in a Customized/Personalized Coots mix my buddy and i whipped up together. Each container we filled about 30 gallons full and they are 45s.
I planned to build the soil up through topdressing, and to leave room for more amending next season. The Containers are actually 45s. Each bed has a gallon of charged biochar.

If anybody has questions of how i do things like amendments, teas, foliars, whatever, just shoot.

May 15th which is 8 days later.

Mycelial Mat = Mycofiltration

Our modified Coots mix is different because there is not Shrimp or Crab and Replaced that with extra Oyster Shell for replacement calcium, and Insect Frass which is a 2-2-2. Its good stuff and pretty sure the frass helps keep pests away. Also used some Tm-7 which contains humic, and an array of micronutes in the mix, along with several different composts, and Gro-kashi Bokashi.

I topdress composts, Bokashi, and neem meal mixed together. at this point. sometimes a tiny bit of peat mixed in the topdress too so it keeps the finer compost bits from clumping. Ive been mixing 1 part of dr earth vegetable garden soil into my topdresses, which would be 10 parts total, but 1 part dr earth.
Also been watering with compost Tea containing all of the same ingredients i already mentioned plus liquid fish, coconut, and aloe, the Effective microorganisms added post brew, before watering in. Em-1 or Labs, and Mammoth, every other watering from this point i do just Em, and Mammoth, maybe some Coconut and aloe

This plant has also had a minimum of Bi-monthly foliar sprays of Natural Mystik, and probobly some neem 1 or 2 times inbetween to keep her clean, and the Foliar helped her stay strong when she was still in the #1 Nursery pot.
