Although the Cannabis Cup events sponsored by High Times are no longer held in Amsterdam, we are seeking any information that would tend to either confirm or debunk persistent rumors related to how the "winners" were selected.

( There was, at one point, a minor scandal around the efforts of one seed bank to scam the voting process, but we're not concerned with that isolated incident. )

Whether in the form of cash, trade, or advertising contracts, were "arrangements made" between representatives of High Times / Trans High Corp,. and members of the seed bank / coffeehouse community, that determined the eventual winners?

There have also been allegations that multiple "Cups" were awarded to identical strains, under different names, in consecutive years.
