Hey DWW, I'm not trying to sell them. I'll tell you this about the Grobot. They ROCK and really made my life so easy for all my parent plants. I bought one when they first came out and used it for my mother's and the one father plant i was keeping. I didn't have to worry about any watering. Just kept a eye on them from time to time. The normal PH and PPM every so often. That machine cut some of my work out of the work load. AWESOME for going out of town for a week or two. Just make sure the jug is large enough and your good. I'll be buying a few units to keep around. They are nice little machines. Uses a couple of AA's and easy to use directions. You'll be very happy with them. I know i was and will be buying more.
Take care,
BG

Hey GDW, I think the clue is make sure the jug is large enough... I have been having a very hard time finding something large enough.... What do you use to go away for 2 weeks? And do you use all the lines? IE How many plants? Lastly how much do you water and how often....
If this is sensitive info you could do it via pm. Im really trying to get the best use out of my growbot. Thanks. Jah Bless

Hey Niemand, no worries. Not growing anymore so it's not a big deal to share info. I used all the lines with my unit. I would just use a 1 gallon water jug. If i needed more water for longer time frame. I would use a rubbermaid container from wal-mart and rig a mount of the container. Here's some old pictures of my unit. Wish i had the one's with the rubbermaid container, but i can find the pictures. If i remember right, i was watering every 2 days and for about 30 second to a full minute. It all depended on my contain size for the parent plants i had. I'm a hydro person and the only soil i use. Is for all my parent plants.

If i missed something, just reply or PM me.
take care,
BG

Is a grobot that much cheaper than buying a pump and timer and 1/2" and 1/4" tubing?

Depends on the price of the pump! AND the timer....

@GWW - Thanks.... If you ever come across that pic please let me know... BUT Im thinking now that a 1 gallon water jug with holes in it, in a more capacity container MAY do the trick.....

Thanks again for the info! I Dooo love my Grobot but I would love it EVEN more  if I could break that gallon limit!!

Peace, Jah Bless
