LBH in the Canada
Well I am finally posting some pics of LBH strains I have going. They had a bit of a late start due to some injuries I had.
I will apologize in advance for the less than idea conditions these plants will be put through. The first pics are of a small patch in a clearing in the forest. These do not get the best sunlight and the first month of their life was a lot of rain and clouds which did not help with the sunlight. They have grow quite fast despite the lack of light. Not a lot of side growth though. Double fun x New Dame Blanche Transplanted June 4 June 22 June 29 |

And now some Power Pineberry pics. These are in a much better spot for sunlight but were planted out later than the DF X NDB.
Power Pineberry June 29 July 7 2 that were transplanted on the 7th of July in a fabric pot filled with coco in the swamp. Cheers GG |

Update time
Despite a very wet and cloudy season so far things are coming along. No signs of sex yet on the Double fun x New Dame Blanche. I hope they begin flowering soon or they will have no chance to finish in my harsh environment. Maybe LBH can tell me when these strains usually finish for him? DF X NDB July 25 And a pic of the Power pineberry which has shown sex and 1 male was pulled from the pot. I am training a little and that is why the plant is bent over. That's it for now. Does anyone else have any experience with these strains. If so please share info and pics here please. Peace GG |

Thanks Tynehead Tom,
I wish most were in better spots with more light. But I am impressed so far. Next year I will have better spots prepped for some LBH strains. This is my first experience with them as well, but he has some great looking strains for us northern growers. Peace GG |

Update:
Power Pineberry has taken nicely to tying it down and filled in. And a couple shots of the Double fun x New Dame Blanche which are still slow to show sex. I took a bunch of the large fan leave off last visit to slow upward growth and allow more light in. The tallest are reaching 6 ft. - 1.8 meters. Hopefully next visit all will be sexed and I can thin out the males which will really open things up for the remaining females. Until next time take care and I hope everyone is having a great season. Peace GG |

Ya they are supposed to be semi-auto I think. Not sure if the shade the DF X NDB is in most of the time is slowing the flowering. Next year I will be putting more in the swamp where they will get the sun they deserve.
Cheers GG |
