I agree...totally ridiculous bid.

However, Seedbay is free to use, and it stands to reason that there will always be someone to bid that has no intentions to pay. This is why we have the auto ban feature installed which will automatically ban any member who does not pay for 2 auction wins in accordance with the 14 day payment policy. It's 2 strikes and you're out.

After 14 days, if the auction has not been paid, it will be relisted.

Please, everyone should investigate the price of seeds, know what they normally sell for or used to sell for, and not bid such crazy money, unless it is really something rare and/or very difficult to come by and is an established well sought after vareity with proven genetics, then it's up to the bidder as to what they are willing to pay and how much they are willing to bid.

I agree with the two strikes your out rule.I remember before how a pack of Chocolate Thai was bid up to one thousand dollars and the bidder failed to purchase.

Hey thanks for reminding me about the Chocolate Thai, that was an unpaid lot which will now to be relisted. You'll find it in the 'Untested' category on Seedbay.

Thing is when you have something special, its up to you what you pay for it and the same for the person buying, what they are willing to pay.
Question is,is it worth it, to some no to others, yes.
If they are the last seeds or something they could be worth more.
Did you know that in Japan a Kilo goes for 20thousand pound.Wonder why...
