Dutch got a brain FLASH or something and KABOOM seedbay's got like 700 PLUS auctions...and ********s got...what was the last number...OH YEA...ZERO. I have NO problems with seedbay...and have had NOTHING but positive experiences with it...but was "kinda" hoping that the "other" guys would do well also...but well...I AINT no math major...but YOU do the math... Seedbay isn't anything great IMO.

There should be more auctions. Start them at $.99, and let the bidding decide the price. Not a bunch of buy it nows for $5 cheaper than seedboutique. I am not a math major either, but the better deals are at seedboutique once the discount is taken off.

The only auctions will be for seeds that are sold out at seedboutique, but they still have a few packs left. How that's really sold out is beyond me. But expect to see those packs going for 2-4x their original value.

im not a math major either but i do have common sense. 5$ cheaper than seedboutique takes the shipping charge off the price. Where on earth can u get "quality" genetics for .99 or 5 bucks or half the price their worth. That would be assanine for the middleman selling the genetics. Also with auctions being set up like that ^^"king" Then there would be way less auctions with :EVERYONE fighting for the one pack a week of each strain...If it aint broke- don;t fix it IMHO

I love Seedbay. Nice selection and reasonable prices. Good comunication and reliable service, time and time again.
They have never let me down. What more can you ask, a couple of mouse clicks and top quality seeds direct to your door if you want.
Thanks guys!!!!!

Everyone is lucky to be able to get quality genetics at all in this day and age. The costs involved in you buying a pack or several packs of seeds is far outweighed by the risks taken by the operators of these companies. Marc Emery turns a profit charging double or more what other seed vendors charge, be happy that others havn't followed in his footsteps and that all you have to grow isn't bagseed. I for one am happy to pay $100+ for a pack or 2 or 3 of seeds all of the same strain. If $300 nets me a keeper mom I'm way ahead of the game. With only one mom I could grow thousands of dollars , street value, of herbs. And usually the more expensive varities show less variation in a pack than the lower dollar strains such as Nirvana ( I've even found keeper phenos in 10 packs of Nirvana beans) so you wouldn't have to spend $200+ to find a mom. IMHO, if you are complaning about the costs of a pack of seeds you are doing something wrong, as one mother plant can keep you supplied with smoke for years to come. So, $100 for a 10-15 pack of seeds which will more than likely net at least one keeper phenotype of known genetics, keep buying weed at $300 or more per ounce, or find unknown genetics in some quality smoke and grow it out 2+ months to maturity then 2+ more months for flower only to find out it has hermie traits/low yeild/low potentcy, or you get lucky. You could just buy the known genetics and increase you chances in the "lottery" $100-200 is a small price to pay compared to my time and effort to find out a strain is sub-par. At least Gypsy gives us access to his site here where we can research/ask questions and get a good idea of what you'll be getting when you lay down some money for seeds.

You spend your money however you feel fit buddy. Those who have been around for awhile know if they wanted say THSeeds bubblegum they could pay the following:

Seedbay(Buyitnowbay) - $107.99 + $5.00 shipping = $112.99 shipped
Seedboutique - $111.68 - 10%= $100.51 + $5.00 shipping = $105.51 shipped

Most all the other strains listed on both sites are the same price wise between Sbay and Sboutique as the above example.

Which sounds better to you? Same exact seeds.

You may not have ever of won a pack of seeds that retails for $100 for $80 like I have. It feels great. (And to tell you the truth, the only reason I bid and wound up buying them was because I could get such a good deal on them, hence seeds wouldn't go for $0.99, unless they are really only worth $0.99) Maybe if you did win a pack like that you wouldn't have that opinion. You'd have more money to buy more seeds.

And there wouldn't be anyone fighting over packs of seeds. Rather people trying to get a good deal. Because again why would you bid(pay) the price up over the retail price, if you could simply pay the retail price to begin with? If you could save even just $5.00, why wouldn't you? Wasteful is something I try not to be.

I will say though, I did find a pack of seeds, that I've wanted, that I used a Buy It Now on at Sbay. The only reason I bought it was because it was actually $15 cheaper than the Sboutique retail price. So it was cheaper in the end. That and getting strains only available on Sbay are the only reason I'll use Sbay.

Where was I complaining about the price of seeds? I've paid $100+ for a few strains. I know what you are saying.

I'm just saying I wish it was more of an auction site, but I'm just a grower with an opinion that doesn't really matter anyways.
