nothing to see here...lol... seeds popping ..I think all the pixie stix have shown...due to space I only planted 5 of each....and I plant direct in soil as usual..paper towels are for cleaning a mess not seeds...its not uncommon for me to get 100% on seeds... I moisten soil,,use finger to make depression, put seed in ,,backfill with pinch fine sifted soil,,moisten with fine mist from sprayer...done!!!!...yeehaw..w ho would of thought they way mother nature intended is indeed best and easiest..i don't miss planting 30 to 72 tiny sprouts...

Hey Trout... just curious, no soak for the seeds before the dirt nap?

I know nothing about autos... so...

Good luck!

I also go straight into soil now with my seeds. I used to always use the paper towel method.
Really it's just a un-necessary step. The only thing I do different than stoned-trout is cover the tray with a clear plastic bag till about half have popped. This helps to retain moisture and prevent the top soil from getting crusty.

Peace GG

True....some swear by the paper towel method.....found it to be un necessary. To each their own.

We either reuse styro cups, holes in the bottom or direct seed.

I've tried multiple ways, but a 24 hr soak & then sown into peat pellets has pretty much been 100% for me over the years. Keep in warm, dark place for couple days & VOILA!

I've had 5+ year old beans come up no probs - back when I had a small grow with partner (hydro - net pots & clay pellets over dwc).

Different strokes - but I know which stroking MY stem likes
