Hello everybody! I am officially off on my organic bender. Here’s my first question. I have some agricultural limestone the ingredients indicate the magnesium is insoluble.
1. Calcium 21.60% 21.6% water soluble
2. Magnesium 13.03% Water insoluble
3. Calcium carbonate CaCo2 53.94%
4. Magnesium Carbonate MgCO3 45.36%
Is this why I am looking at a yellow fan leaf? What is a source of Mag that the plants can utilize? Without screwing ph up. Secondly how long will it take this bone meal to decompose? The plants are only in the pots for 2 months. Should I start decomposing the bone meal early? I have some bat Guano 14-4-1 (This is beetle poop). Will this burn if I use too much? Worm castings. I have two kinds one is store bought. It looks like peat is mixed with. I have real worm castings. I feed them all the usual things except I give them limestone and greensand for their gullets also I give the worms food high in Phosphorous. I have also an unlimited supply. Here is the last question. Can I put excessive organic ferts into the bottom of the pots for a boost? Peace Octodiem

Just because the magnesium isn't water soluble it doesn't mean that it doesn't get broken down by the beneficials in the soil into a form your plants can use.
All ammended soils need to be composted for 2 weeks before using to start the composting process and thus have some elements availble to the plants upon using the soil.
EWC are high in humic acids but low in N, I would do a LIGHT tea of some high N guano if you notice the fan leaves are prematurely yellow.
Use your own castes they will be much better.
As for loading up the bottom with nutes that's bad idea, the most concentration of roots is in the bottom of the plants yes but mostly your looking for proper drainage in the bottom of your pots, I use 2" of hydroclay or perlite or lava stones in the bottom to provide more oxygen to the root mass.
This will have more benefits that pure castings in the bottoms wich will turn to mud in no time.
