Right on, galliciano!

Those cones of beauty of yours can be dubious at times, which dubi ain't , tricking you into thinking harvest is at the door...yet, calyx and smell observation can be a safer beacon ...

Worry not about the sun, I grow at 40, the light is just about fine...major concern is humidity and temps, like you said, and having sailed around Finistere a few times I know first hand how brutal the weather can be around your neck of woods...but then, that's the most challenging part of an outdoor grow...

Keep rocking!

Well, I have a doubt that is killing me: I chopped half of PCKC#2 today; The thing is that she smells good, like she always does, but when I cut a stem she starts to smell more pugnent, and when i'm done trimming a bud, the bud smell like... humidity, or wetness. It doesn't smell good anymore. Last year the same happenned to me... My question:

¿Is this normal or am I doing something wrong? I'm quite worried.

Tomorrow I will cut what's left at noon or in the afternoon. So if any of you have some advice or anything, go ahead

The drying will be a problem. We had 1&1/2 weeks of rain, now we have 2 sun days, and then rain again... temps are dropping hard.

Hi vcasqui,

Looks like the PCK x Kali China has worked fine in your climate, the purple pheno is a real beauty.
How did the Malawi and Bangi Haze turn out ? In your area the sun is weak after September, with many cloudy and rainy days, and depending on how is your terrace located your plants can lose important hours of direct sun light in autumn, which are very important for sativas to mature correctly.

Regarding the wet aroma of the flowers at harvest time, it's quite normal they smell wet a few days after harvest .... i wouldn't worry too much ... try to dry and cure them properly and all their natural aromas and terpene complexity will slowly come back. After 2-3 months of proper curing the aromas should be 'shining' again in full glory.

Hey, what's up Dubi. Nice to see you around.

It's has been pretty rough for me lately. I lost the BH#1 because I had to be out of town 1 hole week; other person was taking care of them, but the weekend was really rainy and windy and when I came, she was 80% putrid, so I got rid of her. A lot of that was caused not only by the wetness, but also by fucking worms (Not worms, but I think you know what I mean).

BH#3 had some rot here and there. But 90% of the plant was harvested. She dried pretty fast and smells good, also burns smoothly and already taste nice. Before the chop, she was giving the hole house (even inside) a really nice aroma and was sticky and even oily, now she is not. Not too much to say about the high, because I usually game when I smoke, and it's pretty difficult to test; It's like I'm not even high, but I know I am because I feel the music the way I usually do when I'm high. It also allows me to play without much troubles, and I had some above (my) average matches playing CS:GO (test reaction time and concentration) and Paladins (also reflexes and some multitasking). With the time, this feeling of euphoria goes away, and it's all pretty clean.

The 25L Malawi ended up with almost all her heads putrid. So I harvested like 65% or so, mainly mid sized buds. This one, unlike BH#1, I will blame on the person who was taking care of her the week I was not there. She is still drying. I mixed up a little of this with the BH#3 and I felt something. Something different.

The 17L Malawi. I have like a third of this one waiting for harvest, for testing pourposes. Like BH#3, I will end up harvesting ~90% of her. The rest is drying. I smoked some "charas", I think it's called, and you can say for sure that Malawis have something in them. I can just imagine how a REAL Malawi would feel (I mean a Malawi that has been selected beforehand and growed in optimal conditions by an experimented grower)

And the PCK x Kali China: A pleasure to grow, really. The green pheno it's getting sticky inside the jars, but you can tell it's way too wet. It was almost 1 month drying, but with this weather and the density of the buds it's hard :( Anyways, I just smoked one of this right now, and It was pretty dreamy (1'5hrs for this text), sends you into your mind and makes you think. No body stone at all, makes me hungry.

In general, the drying process was not optimal at all. It actually was super hard because I really hadn't any good place. Curing will be a pain in the ass also, but much less. But well, at lest the manicuring is almost done ufff haha. Right now I have the jars in a place with 15ºC and 62%RH, wich I think it's pretty good, but this is ever-changing. No pics because I'm using a really old Nokia.

So, I can honestly say that I'm dissapointed with me. I know I could have done it better. Specially at certain points along the way. But I also think that I had patience and dedication, and I learned a lot this year.

BUT the most important thing for me is that they all make me happy when I smoke them

So, that's what I have for now. I'll be lurking in the shadows.

Oh! I didn't said how the purple PCKC was. Well, I tested a little bit too much of this one xD This was the one that I test with friends, and by myself alone, and... So I only have a medium sized jar left. I wont talk about the taste, because she was not in ideal conditions, but it was not that bad. The high starts pretty funny and such, kinda like green pheno, not as much tho, but then you feel it on your body, and you start to get a little tired.
