After 5 weeks of trying to get 5 seeds sprouted i decided instead of binning them and giving up i skuffed the shit out of them and i'm now the proud father of 1 seedling.
1 seed was cracked before and rotted and the others i'm hopeing will crack but if not i've got around 25 seeds left.

Managed to pop 2 more seeds out of the 5 so now i know how to start em i'll be poping a few more and these will be a open pollination later in the year but i'll keep everyone posted on how there growing.Looks like its going to be a busy year.

Have you checked out the varieties from La Reunion from Tropical Seeds? I have some of the Double Zamal and Old Congo just germinated. The K1 takes a loooong time flowering.
There's a pretty good selection there, they might end up very interesting in your hands

I've got to many varieties as it is,at the rate i can grow i'll be 170 by the the time i get through em....lol
I'm expecting these to take 18+ weeks to flower so once there big enough i'll take cuttings then flower them,which should be in the next month.I'm hoping for a nice fem but if a get a good male i'll be saving him until i find a good fem or 5 then open pollinate em so this var doesn't disappear like so many have in there original form.

Are you planning to release seeds for any of these crosses? They sound absolutely like my cup of tea.

Yep i'll be evaluating the zamal first as well as running a few cuttings for seeds if its any good and yep i'll be putting them up on seedbay as well as sending out testers.

Great news, I'll definitely be looking out for those.
Probably not much point in putting myself forward as a tester because a)You don't know me from Adam and b)I'm still to paranoid to post pictures.
Other than that, I am perfect in every way

My zamal leaning Zamaldelica goes 15 weeks.

Very much worth the time and effort. I also have
a pineapple pheno of the Zamaldelica.

It's like candy. Trippy mess you up candy, lol
