Hey man I hate Trump too but I think he would actually be against something like this. Don't talk down to America like that it's not cool. We are a country of well over 300 million. Please don't paint us all with a broad brush.

They may start putting a surcharge on new rain barrels.

Maybe the do-gooders will rat you all out.

i'd think it would be lot like growing on the sly
if you tell no one, no one(else) knows
but if someone else knows, you could be ratted out

So yeah, most probably, a tax on the air we breathe isn't that far away.
Ya I'm being screwed there too. You don't even want to know what my quarterly water/sewer bill is for a small multi family.

Can see this one be referred to as a rat tax.
If you see something, say something ,lol . The Nancy Regan line of "just say no" works out better here.

Some trivia for you. Colorado just made it legal for collecting rain water in a rain barrel. Colorado has had a strange set of water laws forever since it is so arid here. The senior (oldest in history) water rights holders had the first draw of the water in a dry period. The junior water rights holders often got no water because it was all spoken for. The theory on rainwater goes that if you catch rainwater, you are diverting water before it gets to the senior water rights holder. I told you it was strange!

I just read that the senate stopped this. It did not pass.

It is still illegal to collect rainwater from your own fucking roof. That's some bullshit.

ina word, GS... drones. Local governments can now have 'close air support' at relatively low cost and gain a few more empire building, employees to flyem.

we loose our freedoms in many ways most = more taxes or fines or another word for take money from the public in the name of law and order..

EDIT: and the media will make most of 'them' believe its a good idea; as long as it make more money for the govt at all or any levels.
