Seed development nutrition
Hello folks i have yet another question since its my very first indoor seed producing (Have done it outside, but it kinda just happened, a guerilla turned out to have a male too).
Im crossing Durban Poison with Mapple Leaf Indica and the DP has a huge advantage (it began flowering 2.5 weeks earlier from 12/12). However she is loaded with seedlings, pollinated like every single sinsemilla, only the 40-50% of seeds look like they will turn out to be healthy ones... the rest are all smaller, grumpy, like ants balls in the freezing winter. Do they miss any nutrition or am i underwatering? The plant looks healthy under 200w cfl, they are estimated to get 45000 lux in a 40x40cm box, and never had any yellowed leaf or anything at all marked on them, except some seeds looks like the others are eating their food. Peace

If you pollinated the entire plant you should expect to find aborted seeds.
As far as nutrition goes, plants bearing seed should get a full compliment of food so you will end up with healthy seed sets. Spunds like you'll have plenty of seed regardless. |

You not flushing them at the end either like you would if you were growing for smoke. Seed bearing plants need to be fed well till the end. i.e. Just like a mother having a baby should be fed and taken care of. If you starve or abuse a seed making mother. Don't expect the best seeds to be produced. Good Luck. |

I always let my developing seeds go longer than necessary, at least 6+ weeks especially if using flouros. I also let them dry in the bud. If you heavily pollinated you will usually get some that are underdeveloped.
