Thx Ashin
May I add that this one has very sturdy stems unlike all of the elite OGs from clone Ive had. This one has the fat swollen calyx look to I love so much too, I cant wait...I have another seed plant in the near future to go into flower, I will update. |

Thanks Rooster
Here's a bit more details on this grow, Ashin. As I think I stated this was from seed. She was fed ala living soil flowered in a 15 gallon smartie on a huge saucer of Growstones. It was typical of most OG style plants; very long in the node and Ca Mg hungry even as a youngster, requiring an extra pot up as I ran low on Ca in veg. I supercropped her as a lil one and developed more tops. I flipped her into flowering after about 12 weeks or so in veg, not really sure on that one tho. Into the awaiting 15 gal in the flowering area. The stretch on it is comparable to all the OGs I've run, really stretchy, but the stems are really sturdy. As my pic shows I did bamboo it up, but it would do more of a swing, like a baseball bat, than a flop. The top in the pic is about nip high. As for now she has the typical OG lemon pine-sol smell with a bit of sweetness as well. She has been significantly easier to grow than all of the fussier clone only OGs I have come across, with a bit of boost in overall flower size to boot. She will be giving the SFV cut a run for her money, as I am not an OG fanatic and don't really want 2 similar plants in my garden. I also mentioned I have another Pure Irene in veg. This new baby is also very Ca Mg hungry, quickly consuming the supply in my soil mix. I must also note I had 2 not germinate, but in hasty excitement I popped them at a poor time according to the moon a few months back. All in all, Id say its a pretty solid OG style plant with a nice sturdiness to the stems and solid yield (for OG). I'll come back with a smoke and vape report when appropriate.....needless to say I hope this just smothers my face in OG greasiness. If you have any questions let em rip... |

Hey all thanks for checkin out the shot...I just checked er last nite at 9.2 wks, almost ready. The nose has increased and is quite nice. Piney OG, nice and greasy, and swelling nice. I'll get up a pre chop pic and hopefully I can report back that it tastes as gnarly as she smells.
