I've grown fems in the past and decided to shorten my exposure time this year because of the state I live in. I did choose autos and I do suck at germinating seeds in my dome. Started 5 fastbuds cookies, and 5 heavyweight fruit punch. 4 cookies and one fruit punch survived and are in 2 gal pots with organic soil. I then started 5 GG#4 seeds. Only one popped up and now in same 2 gal pot. I then resorted to 4 green crack seeds. I have one pot with a green crack and gg#4 in the same pot. Like the fool I am I ordered Nirvana's autos blueberry kush, Ak48 and bubblelicious. I'm a little stubborn on filling every fucking 2 gallon pot under my twin 400 watt lights. One each went into the 3 remaining pots and then low and behold another green crack popped up the day after planting the 3 Nirvana autos. They are all in organic soil and so far looking pretty good, not real tall, a foot are so, but the six early ones are already flowering and showing numerous bud sites at 18/6. I do not believe they will yield what photo fems do with a good veg period but we will see after another 6 to 8 weeks. I get some of the bitching about calling autos popular strain names ,but some of the photos are not representations of the plants I now have growing. I may post up photos to show the community that autos can be a great alternative for the small self supplier. You can see my earlier results on here a few years back. I will let you know if these autos produce good ganja and there is another site for autos you should check out for fair grow logs and real photos. Some people kill autos for yield and triced out buds. We'll see if I can do that regardless of the strain name or breeder.

Have seen the gamut from multi-branched to miniscule specimens yielding a mere few grams.
Hoping your "beautiful black holes", Farmer Brett, are the former (multi-branched), not the latter. Seems to be quite the divergency and with some, unstable genetics (Tangi).

I have been able to get my plants in the passed that were sick to keep flowering for close to 12-13 weeks flower.
