I was sent some seeds from Fastbuds to grow outdoors this past summer and only 1 popped the others didn't germ and the one that did germ died after transplant. I have grown autos from about every company and breeder who makes them and have not had problems like that before. I have had some that didn't grow very big but have also grown quite a few that I have harvested over 6oz from in under 70 days. The biggest and most potent auto I have ever grown was <<<<<edited to conform with tou>>>>>>>> was Auto Fire99 and it was straight gas.

Here is a lil update of my Mexican airline. she isn't growing so well atm...
here's a photo of the top bud. hopefully I can fix what ever the problem is soon before its too late and she dies.
I have been able to get my plants in the passed that were sick to keep flowering for close to 12-13 weeks flower.

she's been on a light cycle of 18on 6off.

I grew a few that FB sent. Most everyone that smoked it was disappointed in taste/effect. They didn't grow (in comparison) to the standards that we produce. Tangi produced nanners.

Lester gave us the parameters as far as lighting, medium, etc. It should have produced far more than the booger bud on a mere twig.

And, iwantmorebuds....were these pics you saw of other LSD or have you actually watched it grow from packet to chop it? Rumor has it (from 2 other forums, not AFN) that FB has used other auto pics and NOT their own seed to plant pics. Even if you've seen LSD plants growing, there's something about congruency that every breeder should have....stable genetics is part of it.

Many of us were/are disenchanted with grow results. Others rave about FB. To each their own....but personally, I'll never buy their genetics....

Personally, I have a huge problem with Autos that claim to be whatever the most popular strain name is. It's NOT whatever it claims to be! It's half ruderalis, and it's NOT "GG#4" or "GSC - Forum". It's just not, and it will never be the quality of a photoperiod plant. I don't understand why they need to claim that it's something that it's not. Be proud of your creations if you make autos, but name them something unique and don't contribute to the confusion of fake cuts or seeds of popular strains. There is just no way that a GG#4 auto has even close to the same terp profile, potency, or growth as the actual thing.

Just to play Devil's Advocate a little I'll state this. I have grown quite a few different seeds companies auto's. Most are exactly like you say, nothing like the variety they claim to be.

But.... I have grown an Auto Northern Lights x Big Bud that was almost spot on to the photoperiod version that I also grew. Just about the same smell and taste as the photo version. Also made regular looking buds compared to a lot of other auto's that make "auto looking" buds.

That was a one time deal. Every other auto I have grown that had a photoperiod name tag on it, was a ruddy hybrid with a fancy name.


EDIT: I found a pic of the NL x BB Auto. It's the plant on the far right of the pic. If you look close, you can see it was making "regular looking buds" like a photo variety. The other plants are Roadrunner#2. Bit off topic I know. Just figured I add to the conversation about "most auto's being nothing like their photoperiod counterparts".
