Just checked progress...after 2 days none of the Sour Dubb Haze have germ'd. :(
All Super Glue Haze have started...some further along than others, but looking good.

my fresh cookie beans don't like to crack sometimes or have trouble throwing off the shell occasionally too.
it's like the shells are super thick compared to other varieties. I advise the shake them in a tube of sandpaper method before germing.

something I read suggested that under certain environmental conditions plants might make seeds that were not intended to germ for years as a defense against droughts and such.

I've tried knicking shells with an exacto too...

Yah man, I was thinking maybe these were just a little too fresh. I usually put seeds through a lil container that I have a small piece of sand paper in and give em a good shake to scuff them up but forgot out of the excitement of cracking these things. haha These were actually the first seeds that I've popped in 2016...I think. Been running through some clone only's and proven moms that I have in the stable lately.

Well, I do have 5 left of the Sour Dubb Haze. I'll wait for a couple weeks & then try them out again, this time with a good scuffin'.

I like your theory on the toughness of the shells...makes sense.
