Robert, I applaud your thinking about security, but I'd worry much more about an asteroid crashing thru your roof and killing you than fingerprints in a picture causing trouble. The odds are pretty much the same. Even in a clear enough picture to ID your prints and holding a huge bud, a judge would still have to know who it belonged to and where the pic was taken before a search warrant could be issued, just ain't gonna happen. It's about as likely as LEO finding a roach in a landfill and running a DNA test to bust the smoker. Also if you haven't been arrested, you shouldn't have a fingerprint file anyway.

Ha!....Yeah mine are on file too, but I think everyone's heard stories of how most busts happen. You piss off someone you thought you could trust or neighbor smells your grow and rats you out. You have a falling out and the cops are called, list goes on and on. Just think there's a lot of other more likely worries that should be considered before prints in a pic

If you are posting pics of a decent sized grow your odds might be better than you think. Complacency and carelessness get people in trouble straight up.

If you are in a legal place that's cool why not just post pictures of your face? Why even bother with a fake screen name? Not to mention they are revoking your Cali med growing rights as we speak. yeehaw!

You need to remember that the charge for growing in some places gets you a longer prison sentence than rape or murder. Leave a big amount of canna trash like coco, rockwool, and stalks from your plants with prints on them and see what happens. MANY have been sent to girl scout camp for such mistakes. A lot of good people have their lives ripped apart because of careless partners having no reguard for safety. Do that shit around here you get a visit from your homies Stacks Edwards style!!!

If you are careless and don't have a arrest record it's only a matter of time before you do.

I never said anything about it being OK to be sloppy or careless, don't put words into my posts! I was growing long before it was legal here and have never had even a close call. I was simply stating my opinion that prosecution from fingerprints in a picture is extremely remote.

I would tend to agree with you there. But the condescending nature of your original post defiantly pointed towards carelessness.

Comparing an android falling out of the sky with the same probability of your android phone getting you busted is a bit naive to say the lest.

My point was that there are many things that can get a grower busted and fingerprints taken from a low res digital image, if even possible is unlikely. If your feelings were hurt by anything in my post it was unintended. If you read my post again, I said "asteroid", not android. I would never advocate that anyone be careless with their freedom and I don't believe anything in my post suggested that.

BTW, enlarge any picture on this site to a point where fingerprint lines can be seen and it will look like a hand full of gravel. God couldn't ID anyone from it!

Search thru your local newspapers for picture of your Mayor.

Use Photoshop and paste the Mayor on all of you photos.

Yup that's how I see it.

Law Enforcement is a lot smarter than people give them credit for and technology to track us down is far beyond what most people think. Why give them Jack shit?

Some folks post pics on outside image hosting sites in case they have to erase everything. Some think nothing can ever happen to them and posting anything is perfectly fine. To each te
heir own.

But in my eyes even one bust is one too many. If we can prevent it from happening we should.
