Out of 20 seeds i got one plant to survive last year. Luckily it was a female, and an amazing plant too. Definitely had that apple/pear smell going on and produced some rock hard nugs in the shadiest part of my greenhouse. Hit it with a few [Ducksfootx(DucksfootxPCK)] males and got tons of seeds. Growing a bunch of those this year, looking to incross to find some webbed phenos next generation.

I think I was lucky with mine. There was a period of time where my seeds were frozen which probably added to their viability now.

I'm having a bit of a panic about how I'm going to go forward. I'm not sure if six plants is really enough to reproduce the line. I'm now thinking about what I can cross the males to. I had 6 SoCal Master Kush S1 but they've failed totally to pop. I also have a packet of MLI.. Wanting to keep the cross pure broadleaf indica but having trouble finding a good one in seed form. Totally bumped about the MK S1, and now the vendor I got them from isn't returning my mails..

Suggestions would be great.. It's getting pretty late in the day and I need to get something sorted pretty fast.

Yes, I've considered it.. It would be the most natural choice in some sense. The snob in me wants to try and find something a little less known. I've thought about petrolia headstash and others.. We'll see what comes.

You can get sour bubble from bog if ya email him. Nice inbred WLD. Would be easy to select progeny from since its so inbred and a lot of traits seem to be linked.

I think though I want the cross to be as close to landrace as possible - which is why it's difficult to find a parent line that hasn't already been outcrossed or hasn't been worked enough. My main problem is space, I have very little at present. This was why I thought the so-cal MK S1 would work. I'd be able to grow a small population and chuck pollen from all X18 males over 5 or 6 females. Then test each batch at a later date to try and discern which female produced the best progeny. This is really why I'm being a bit choosy with the outcross - I'd prefer to use an S1 if poss..

Thinking about Reefermans golden temple S1 (supposedly rajasthan WLD).. Not too sure what I think about Charles, his methods and whether it is what it says on the tin. I have yet to bite the bullet and get some flown over the ocean.

Oh and if I have a ratio of say 4 males to 2 females then I'll for sure make another generation of x18

Sorry I'd pm this, but I need to get to 50 posts..

I have a couple of nice x18 females. If you had pollen I would happily make some seeds and give them to you, just to expand the possibilities.

1 has a really nice euphoric indica type high, but a tiny yeild. Intense green lemon flavour and smell.

The other is similar, but less potent and larger yeild.

The x18 is a good strain. Would hate to see it dissapear.

Somewhere in those seeds are plants that are just as good as OG's, again, IMHO.

If I had space I would really like to see what the X18 can do!
