This weekend is the cannabis cup in Medellin Colombia.

The website says +18 , No weapons , no alcohol.

Saturday a lot of people will be competing and Sunday is the expo with over +40 Brands stands, 8 speakers at the Forum 'Confronting The Taboo' and +10 Artists on show.

Opening April 17 , 10:00 a.m.
Closing time expo April 17 , 7:45 pm

The place is going to be full of the best herb and growers of Colombia.

I will follow up later with pictures of the event.

Saturday was the first day

judges tried the entries

there where a lot of strains around, mainly sativas and a lot of no names and some landraces.

a lot of smoking and dabbing going on, most of the entries where sativas.

it wasnt like the cups in north america where we do it in the big cities this was outside medellin like 40 minutes and it was nice to be sorrounded by nature.

first day was dopeeeee

What an AWESOME event

There where probably a thousand ppl there maybe less maybe more..
I was too stoned to count but something is sure there was a lot of beautiful colombian girls.

Love the music and the hip hop that was brought to the event and also it was funny to see the colombians are real sales people so this was their first event but it looked like they've been doing it for a while.. lol



The most interesting part was :

Meeting the native growers from the cali area they are the people that grow for whole cities so its nice to know how the fuck they do those masive tens of thousand of plants..

Btw one of the girls won the cup on the first event, lets go women growers showing us how its done.

i'm glad you liked the post and hope it pushes any of you to come next year and experience de Medellin dream.

i would come, when i can...few things needed to be done before...
need to safe some cash to get over there from EU and others.

Thank you for the link!! That equatorial sun and high UV bring out the trichomes.
Tengo casita cerca Bogotá . I think Indica would do well near Bogotá if I start vegatating inside since it is always a 12 hour night there .
I wish they had some landrace entered in the cup, in my eyes there is nothing stronger than a real red Colombian or Gold.
