Peyote Purple
I was very happy to see that the domestic goats of neighbors living close to the deserted property that I grow the Peyote and Guatemala on don't like the taste of the Peyote. I saw the plant surrounded by goats that ate all the Acacia and other tree sprouts around it, but didn't touch the Peyote. Maybe Indica (Afghan) plants have been naturally selected for resistance against goats, heh.

Guatemala
Proper sativa lankiness. Looks able to withstand any wind.

And this is how it innocently pokes from behind the old fence of my property

Update after a dry and hot week.

Jarilla #4 completely changed its vegging style - from a stretchy and columnar style it's now into making branches of branches of branches... I guess this growing pattern is beneficial among dense vegetation, so that the plant can first outgrow its close companions and then do what tropical sativas like - branch.
Its rubbed stem smells quite pleasant, flowery sweet and hints of menthol/eucalyptus. It's interesting that even the oldest green parts of the main stem still have strong rubbed smell. The tops smell sweet-and-hashy in the heats.

I removed some lower weak branches, and the trunk is now on display. The main stem is now securely fixed to the metal pole stick by an old vacuum cleaner's cable

Some of the leaves of the small lower branches actually look very sativa. The leaves that receive more sunlight (and maybe more food from the roots) grow more robust and "fat".

And here's how the Jarilla looks from far, right in the middle of the photo, behind the tomatoes

Peyote Purple, which I can't take good photos of without overcoming a fence and a jungle of shrubs and nettle. There will be better photos in September when the nettle have died from the drought in August.

And the Guatemala, again with photos only from behind a fence:

Jarilla #3 can be seen popping from the vegetation in the lower right corner in the photo above.

And how it looks from far, seen from my property

A perfect camo you've got there, yoss, or almost...pity though things won't look the same come late autumn...

Chernozem is THE soil so lush a vegetation! I like the way you treat them ladies...

Thanks, man!
Indeed, the sativa bushes mix well with the local dense vegetation, which is a mix of what not, including many plants that like more acidic soils (like cannabis). The chernozem is rather alkaline, but also very rich in food, so they don't complain too much We have wild help here and there, and it is tall and lanky just like sativas. The local people know that the "drug" cannabis is with fat dark green leaves (indica), a very convenient (for me) generalization, heh.
And yeah, in late autum all this leaf mass in on the ground, and a green bush will attract much more attention. So, the lankier and paler a cannabis plant, the better.

That is some magic dirt for sure. You aren't feeding them anything except for the initial worm castings? Amazing!

I don't sub to many grow shows anymore, but with your dry autumns and late frosts, I just have to see how your plants turn out.

Thanks for the interest! Not many months left till the autumn show...
And yes, I haven't fed them with anything this season.
