The Guatemala seedlings still haven't shown any preflowers. G2 is already in a bigger pot and I hope I haven't selected the male out of the pack again, heh.
G1 and G4, apart from having fatter leaves, smell more soft and sweet, and G2 and G3 smell more "sharp", though all 4 have the sweet and sharp components the same, just in different amounts. G1 smells uniquely - it's flowery sweetness is very pronounced and reminds of lavender. G1, G2, G3 and G4 (from left to right): G1 G2 G3 G4

The Peyote Purples haven't shown sex either. Will post photos of them soon when I recharge my camera batteries.

I hope this season will not disappoint
![]() Here's a photo of PP1 right before being gifted to a friend who will grow it on a sunny window. I will also give him one or 2 Jarilla and/or Guatemala plants once they show sex. And PP2, happy in its big pot: The trio that I'll transplant outdoors after a week or so - PP2, J4 and G2: In natural sunlight, to see the difference in color between the Jarilla and the other two. It's lovely pale, even though being well-fed. Yellow pheno that will cure to gold? Can't wait to see, heh.

Hi Yoss33!
Cool line of strains, as always... There is something I can't help wondering about and that's the transparent cups you use. I have a vague remembrance of your explaining why long ago... I've been reading people saying that the light affects the roots...any truth in that? Of course, I can see your seedlings suffering no effect whatsoever... Anyway, I am sure this is going to be an interesting(as always) grow! All I wish you is a benevolent autumn ![]() Orfeas

Thank you, people!
![]() Orfeas, actually I use transparent cups simply because this is the easiest thing to do No problems with them and I like to see the roots. Yea, I've heard it's not good for the roots but it seems it's not so bad as to make me look for a solution

It seems only Guatemala #4 is going to be a male, judging by some very small round pre-flowers. The rest (Guats and Jarillas) have female preflowers.
J5 and G1 were given to the same friend as PP1. The Jarilla is going to be grown on a balcony, and the other two - behind a window in a room next to the balcony. Tomorrow I'll give J2 and G3 to another friend, who is going to grow them guerrilla style. J1 will be given in the following days to yet another friend, again for a guerrilla grow. I hope I'll manage to get some photos of these plants during the season, or at least for the most interesting part - the flowering. I transplanted J4 and PP2 outdoors because my growbox was getting over-crowded and the Jarilla was getting a bit too tall. Unfortunatelly, today the weather forecast turned for the worse and it seems they'll have to suffer 2-3 cold mornings, probably with morning frosts. Let's see how they handle it. Jarilla: J1, J2 and J4 J4, from closer, in all her well-fertilized glory: And after transplanting: I grew a Zamaldelica plant at exactly the same place last year and it was a big and healthy plant. Guatemala: G2 G3 and G4

J4, G2 and PP
Peyote Purple And after transplanting next to the ruins of an old house in a deserted property nearby: I grew a Panama plant at exactly the same place last year and it was a very nice yielder despite the soil being 70% pieces of stone, bricks and roof tiles. I added a bucket of worm castings.
