went to the dentist yesterday, 2 shots of novocaine & 3 cavities filled, I got up out of the chair feeling like I hadn't been there at all, not even a 'fudged' up mouth/lips/drool/face effect from it. I wondered if he even used any, how could I not feel that novocaine???

I owned these 3 springers @ one time, Kayla (the grannydog) on the left, Alice (the mamadog) on rhe right, and finally Scooter (pup of Alice) in the middle. Kayla & Alice are long gone and I learned tonight that Scooter mysteriously passed away in her sleep this past fall, fine the day before. I had given Scooter to a friend (fall of '07) because my bad back couldn't do justice to her energy level, he said that she was the sweetheart of their household.

She was nearly all white, the typical head/mask markings and then a single liver colored spot near the base of her tail, barely visible in that trio pic but there.

Scooter really loved everyone she met, immediately trusting them as friend & family. My friend told me that he never let a dog into his heart as he did Scooter; she was not a full sized springer spaniel, she remained small and so every single morning Doug would have his 2 cups of coffee with her sitting right in his lap, she slept beside him too, previously taboo w/his other dogs. Scooter never lost the puppy in her.......
