Shantibaba is one of the best and serious breeder in the cannabis industry, he certainly not need to do false advertising but i feel when he talk of a strain like in the title of the therapy tread you quote, he talk about an ideal phenotype to find in the seedlots. excuse me man but i cant see where they clearly imply all the seeds will be 20:1 CBD:THC but the wercshop result show all the plants were 20:1 and its not your experience so i think this enigma will be resolved soon as i read Shantibaba will lab test some therapy seeds in 3 different countries so we will be fixed.

The way it says it 20:1, stable seed form can let one think that all seeds are 20:1 and thc less than .35%.
I can see where you could be misled thinking it was 100% guaranteed, but you seem to have an axe to grind with Shanti. If you are already producing seed better than his, why are you running therapy? The instagram link you posted seems to be pretty happy with the results. If I seem like a Shanti fan, I am. Yrs ago when I told him that I had terminally ill family members he sent me a grip of fem CBD seeds. No charge, no strings attached |

ok, after reading an article on the CBD crew site about the strain Therapy, they effectively advertised Therapy to be stable. i dont doubt of your result socioecologist but i will wait some new lab test to be published. Im sure if Shantibaba made a mistake he will correct it. it will be clear soon. in the meantime i think everybody is happy to use the genetic material found in the Therapy line or other CBD crew lines.
CBD Therapy, the worlds first stable high CBD, low THC strain! Posted on February 11, 2016 at 2:19 pm. CBD Therapy, a game changer in cannabis medicine! CBD Crew just released the worlds first stable low THC, high CBD strain in seed form. Many have been waiting for this strain. Now people can grow a low THC strain safely in their own home without having to select phenos and do a lot of lab testing to find the “right one”. Since creating CBD Crew, we have always been asked for stable seeds with low THC, especially for the epileptic children. Much of this due to the low THC pheno of Cannatonic, AC/DC and Charlotte’s Web that are quite popular in the US as cuttings and has helped many over the last years.. But as everybody that has been on the search for these clones know, those are few and far between. And getting a hold of a safe clone of any of these, is not easy for most people. Especially if you don’t live in America. We have even been contacted by people that have encountered clones they thought was low THC high CBD, to get them tested and fining out it’s just normal pure THC clones. Unfortunately not everybody in this business are honest. So we took the demand seriously and started to stabilize low THC high CBD seeds and the result is now finally here, CBD Therapy. Now people can easily order the seeds and grow themselves! ( if you see seeds of AC/DC and/or Charlottes web for sale, it’s a scam, they do not exist in seed form. ) This strain is aimed at mostly treating children with epilepsy, autism and other illnesses. But due to the high CBD content, it will also aid most people with inflammatory illnesses, Cronh’s, fibromyalgia, MS and aid with anxiety/depression/PTSD for those that don’t want or can’t handle a high THC. We are very exited to hear back form all the growers and users after they have had the chance to try our CBD Therapy! |

Glad folks are understanding it now. I have NO axe to grind with Shanti whatsoever, though I realize others might. Honestly, he's one of the few breeders I ever buy seeds from because I generally trust his work.
To answer why I'm growing Therapy in the first place: we were running trials on MedGom CBD (advertised 1:1) and Sugar Gom CBD (advertised 2:1). The MedGoms performed as promised, the sugar CBDs were high THC...we reported it and the line was pulled. We received Therapy seeds from the seed seller as compensation for the bad Sugar CBDs. We were actually very stoked to get them because of the advertising promise, but it turned out incorrect. As was said before, for those who do not have the resources to test each and every plant, this could result in a very dangerous situation (dosing a Dravett's afflicted child with concentrates running 40% THC is not a good idea!). As I have said here and elsewhere, we are very happy with the 50% of Therapies that are 20:1+. Have not flowered them yet, but we're testing a couple thousand clones in the field this summer and are eager to see how they perform. |

Our new test results are in:
Out of 9 plants, 3 are in the 20:1 range. 6 are not! Plant 1: 19.55:1 Plant 2: 1.39:1 Plant 3: 21.3:1 Plant 4: 1.53:1 Plant 5: 1.71:1 Plant 6: 1.35:1 Plant 7: 20.88:1 Plant 8: 1.59:1 Plant 9: 1.2:1 Others are reporting similar results elsewhere. I'm over this one! |

Also the terpene profiles of both would be very usefull, since Therapy has high levels of terpenes, which is unique for a high CBD strain. |

There are plenty of terpenes in high CBD varieties, it's not unique. There are a number of threads devoted to this (and high CBD lines). That's all we grow--high cannabinoid, terpene rich, non-THC producing plants (I say "we," my brother and I operate an industrial hemp R&D farm in Oregon).
We gauge the usefulness of particular lines from both the production and the end-user side. We want structurally sound plants with as little THC as possible, but high in other cannabinoids of interest. As I mentioned before, we like the structure of this variety in veg enough to devote some acres to the high ratio plants we found in this variable ratio seed line. In addition to the ratio issues, we're worried about pictures we've seen on instagram of other Therapy growers experiencing male flowers on their female plants. I can't speak to that until we flower it out. We're a bit behind others in that regard, but will be depping a section of one greenhouse with it soon. We'll continue on with this little replication trial and report back as we move forward. Thanks for the interest! |

Now there are finally two exceptions, the “Garden A 1170-E” in the 360 analytical list and the "Charolette's Web" (not Charlotte) in the SC Labs list, but the majority of the terpenes is myrcene (which Shanti adviced to stay away from). Anyway, could you show us these terpene profiles. |

If anyone thinks they are going to get a seed line that is consistent in terpene ratios across the board. Good luck. This is why I rant about false advertising in the seed business.
