Update Week 8 and 4 days
So, here we are at almost 9 weeks and 1 or 2 are showing signs of readiness. The Fast Shang has around 10% amber resin (I'll aim for around 15) and has been receiving water only for almost a week. Check out those autumn colours, she might be the prettiest thing I've had in the garden, I'm super stoked with the colouration. Next to her is Baby Poo Spice (Cameo) and she is looking fairly close too, she is starting to fade off nicely now. She's also receiving plain water. She continues to smell a bit poopy, but becoming sweeter, sickly and more orangey as well. These 2 may well come down this weekend and if so, I'll grab so harvest shots, especially of the colourful one Next up we have the amazing calyx definition of the Stinky Orange Over-Fed Cameo. Although shes not quite as stinky as previous weeks, she is still smelling strongly of oranges and is very sticky to the touch. This girl has been receiving (half strength) Ripen for nearly a week and will move to plain water today/tomorrow/the next day. Still going full strength is the ChemIndi and the other Shangers. One seems to be a fat headed Chem leaner whilst the other 2 are what I really like to see in my room. Long stacked sativa colas, the size of a baseball bat. My fave decided she wanted a baby so shot a little foxtail off the side (so cute) and the second of that pheno has caught up well, not quite as fat and large but close enough. ChemIndi still looking very interesting in the corner there. Those tennis ball heads have stretched a little but are mostly still bulbous, round, ball shaped buds with a really intense smell. Turning into something special, I'm quite sure. Ok... Pics Stinky Orange Over-Fed Cameo Baby Poo Spice Cameo Purpling Super Fast Shang Tennis Ball Face Indian Head Buffalo Chops (ChemIndian) Mama Shang and Bambino until the next exciting episode, be lucky j |

UPDATE 9 weeks
So, here we have some harvest shots from the girls I've taken so far. First up is "Baby Poo Spice" (ChemxAO/Cameo), at the time of harvest she was 15% amber in terms of resin maturity and smells were a combination of sickly sweet dankness (poop) and oranges with a heavy chem leaning smell. I've test driven a small amount before curing and the flavours are as the smells, heavy dank chemness with a sickly sweet orange tinge...very nice, heavy yet cerebral high. She was ready 9 weeks to the day. |

UPDATE 9.5 weeks
Next out we have Purpy Shang (Shangri-la) This girl was overfed early on and although I pulled back on the feed, she went ahead and finished relatively early. At the end she was displaying beautiful colours so I know I had a good flush/leach, even the waste bucket was pretty (see pic lol). Resins were around 15-20% amber at the time of harvest and smells were a combination of coffee and aniseed with chem background. Test bud was also quite aniseed in the taste with the same chem dankness background as the plant before. Nice body hit with this one (no wonder at 20% amber) A tall girl with an open sativa structure yet nugs as hard as golf balls ... pics |
