Drying in a "drying closet"
Hello
![]() Im about to harvest my 6x huge plants. Its 3x Top44 and 3x Polar Ice. The thing is that I dont have a proper place to dry it in my appartment so I went down to my grow shop to look for an alternative. He got this drying closet who are air tight. I got to install a small fan which I got and a small carbone filter. The fan push about 100m3 is in not mistaken and it gor a regulator. The closet is 70x80x150cm (0,84m3) My question is, for how long should I leave the fan on at the time and how many times aday should it turn on ? Because I belive if the fan stays on 24/7 the buds will be crispy within a few days and we dont want that ![]() I will put this closet down in my basement where its cooler and no one will notice it because there will not be any smell ![]() - BiGT |

just run a string line in the basement to hang the branches from, and a recip fan. to keep the air moving. especially if smell's not a prob.

Well, because I live in a block with just a small basement for each apartment I have to use a closet like this because of the smell.
I still havent figured out when and how often I should start the fan tho. I will have it on a timer but if I push out to mutch air to fast they will dry to fast and be crispy. Any sugestions ? - BiGT |

Nice closet! I think your gonna have to do trial and error on this batch. I've never seen anyone use one of those before, and everyones experiences will be different.

ive never had a problem with leaving the fan on 24/7 as long as the fan is on low and not pointing directly at the buds

Okay, I did some modifications on the closet. I removed the shelfs o I can hang the buds up.
I harvested two plant yesterday. I hooked the fan up with a rpm controller so it makes it easyer to controll the humid. Right now the humid is at 55% and the tmp is about 23-24C Im having a hard time getting it cooler because of the nice weather here. - BiGT |
