My Dad never ceased to amaze me. He could make just about anything. Welder, machinist, inventor. He taught me to learn by observation, but mostly he taught me to use what I had available to me and turn a pile of odds and ends into something useful.

When I was young I wanted to grow up to be a race car driver.

Grew up with my dad taking me to the local track, and he'd introduce me to the drivers in the pits after the races - it was like meeting celebrities, as a kid. Little did I know, he had beers with them all at the local bar almost every day after work lol.

In all honesty......

When I was younger I wanted to grow up to be.....a pot grower. Its an interesting story but when I was a kid my elementary school library had a book about marijuana, it was full of pictures and I used to sit and read that book everytime I went to the library. I thought marijuana was the most beautiful plant I had ever seen.

I also recall another odd occurrence from when I was in elementary school, my class had a stack of Readers Digest magazines and one day I happened upon a story of a guy named The Fox who had smuggled ship loads of marijuana to the US from vietnam, I just thought that was awesome at the time. So I guess I was destined to work with this heaven sent plant.
