Jeeez....Mila?

Now you have got me to wondering how the old gal is. Is she still around with the pollinator company? Is she well?

I really should try and look her up, we have much to chat about, since I haven't seen her in years and we used to be good friends when I was living in the Dam and before that too. She's a real character and sage of all things canna related, among other things too, and definitely a person of interest for all canna enthusiasts ... I spent many years visiting her and her family, stayed many good times at the Hemp Hotel, and learned alot about cannabis products from Mila...and we did business from time to time too.

I've lost touch with so many old friends and acquaintances and bizz contacts over the last few years...more than likely due to being banged up on the other side of the planet, although a few people managed to stay in touch with me, which was nice because many of the other inmates never had anyone visit or contact them at all....so I felt lucky.

Very happy to hear your out, I read an article about the newly elected Philippino president today and was hoping you weren't still stuck over there and then I happened upon this thread. We met in Cali many moons ago🍷

The new Philipino President gave some sort of public speech recently telling people to shoot drug dealers if they escape or if no police are around. Basically advocating killing people for drug "crimes" and saying he would have your back if you did it, even give you a medal.

Mila still has the Pollinator Co. She is in semi-retirement and someone else handles the daily minutiae, though she keeps a hand in it. (she's going to be 72) She travels to cannabis events representing. Their website shows it has been moved out of the Centrum to north of Centraal Station in the industrial park district.
The Hemp Hotel closed a couple years ago(Oct 2013). It is now the "House of Freddy" with a coat of white paint over everything and a poshed-up bar.

I was in the PI when Marcos was president. He was a tyrant and a thief, but you could be killed for even saying that in front of the wrong person.

Duterte (the new president) is, and has been a real hard-ass, particularly towards narco's. Problem with his attitude is that he doesn't differentiate between those who use meth and those who use weed. To him all drug users and distributors should be 86'ed, that is my impression of what I have seen and heard about him.

He was the Mayor of Davao City in Mindanao for years, and word has it that he funded death squads that went around killing those that they identified as illegal drug users and dealers, without due process of law, what you might call 'Extra-Judicial killings'....and now he is President of the Philippines!

There is a HUGE meth problem in the Philippines, it seems to be everywhere, and it's quite easy to spot super-animated people high on it. When I was detained in Bicutan detention facility, I became very aware of the problems this heavy amphetamine can create amongst the inmates, as it does in the general society, and it's probably not going to go away, even with a President that has vowed to eradicate it. <even the guards were selling it to the inmates>

He will fail as every American President has failed in their war on drugs.

Here is a good link to an article about him:

I agree, Meth some nasty shit. I resisted it most of my life, but when I was at a low point, not feeling well a lady friend of mine talked me into trying it. And... I felt better. But then we binged for a bit and I went a little crazy. Never touch it again so help me God.

And as far as the governments of any country regulating morality and prohibiting drugs... bad idea. People still pay for and get the drugs, only the price goes up and some daring individuals get wealthy for their risk. The war on coke really started in the 80s. Coke was $100 USD a gram then. I can get better coke now for $80 an eighth. Not that I use it, I am just in the know. There is more coke in the USA than there ever was, and it is a lot cheaper.

A lot of drugs like Coke and Smack do have medicinal qualities. Meth... Not much it does but take people out of a depression I suppose. But for some reason that drug is running rampant throughout the world. My friends in Central America always talk about it. It is like the end of the world.

it will be if people don't wake up soon and rid ourselves of all the crypto-nazis hiding in places like the U.N and so-called "humanitarian" political parties.

Look at Santos in Colombia, playing dumb with Maduro's birth-certificate proving Maduro was born in Colombia, effectively making his "presidency" illegal. But Santos does not care about the people, he just cares about all that Venezuelan gold flowing to him through the FARC.

Politicians have the Earth held hostage with their psychopathic state of being.

Did you see Obama having a blast with the Castros in Cuba? "opening" Cuba up in exchange for letting the Castros do whatever they want in Venezuela.
