Hey BOG. As you know I am a big advocate of your soil mix. I have used it for the last 2 grows and have received the results I was hoping for.

One question that I have is about the taste. I have noticed that since I started using the bone and blood meal the buds cure with a very sweet lemony aftertaste. Have you noticed this? I figure that it could be the strains I have grown (bubblegum, leda uno and bahia black head) all of which have some fruit genetics. I was just curious if you found the same to be true with your results?

hi billk 6969 how long did the blackhead take and how was the smoke, gotta free pack, gave them to a friend just because. just wanted to let him know what he is in for

On the Bahia Black head, you just gave your friend gold!! Huge producer with a great taste and high. One small pheno was done early, within 65 days. The other 2 are taking much longer, but are producing a lot more. I am still on day 96 and I have another week or 2 before harvesting.

The high starts out behind the eyes right on the first hit. I smoke every day, 4 times a day for my medical condition, so the term "Iron Lung" was based on me. Within 2 hits of this bahia black head on my 1 ft. bong, I was good to go and pain free for 2 hours! Very much a night strain. Couchlock is a understatement.

The strain is a mix of Thai, Brazilian and KC606. I don't know what the KC606 is, but I have heard rumor that it is some type of super plant/lemon skunk mix. Don't quote me though.

Make sure that your friend hooks you up, as this is a definate must try! Well worth the wait if you ask my opinion.

If you mean do I flush, then yes I do flush for the last 2 weeks of flowering.

My feeling is that any good organic flora can make a strain fullfill its taste potential. Clearing is required more or less with different strains and combinations of nutes but I only clear the last week and I don't flush but one time at the start of the last week. Earth juice Bloom used exclusively in the last 4 weeks of flowering or longer seems to produce copious resins with great taste. Not sure about the blood and bone meal but I have used them in my mix so long that i dont know if its that or the genetics I have come across which I deem worthy.

thanx billk6969 im sure he will love it they were free so what the hell cant see charging for free stuff ,i guess it's a karma thing .what goes around comes around most of the time
