Hey fellas

I'm from SoCal and I'll be traveling to London for a few days then on to Ansterdam.

What's the scene like in London?

Hugely overpriced, next to impossible to find anything other than crappy hash and ordinary weed. If you have any contacts there, line them up a long time before you arrive.

As a tourist in London you will not find anything worthwhile unless you know someone here

You are in socal? Hypothetically you could go to the store, and get some pills, patches etc...

If you use one of those 7 day pill reminder cases put other supplements in it along with your important pills then the airline won't fuck with it.

Take your patches out of the package, get some tiger balm patches, and repackage with yours.

All hypothetical though. I would never suggest to do any of this in real life.

P.S. You always have the prison pouch if you are die hard. Hypothetically of course.

if your coming from the states then bring ya own,,,customs not too bothered about our american cousins,,,
it will be very hard to obtain good cannabis in London unless you have a contact,,,,
sadly the areas where drugs are feely available like Totenham Court rd,,soho,,etc has virtually no cannabis in cos its all Heroin and Coke/crack,,,,,,other areas like Brixton have changed so much in the last decade let alone 20 years and again much the same as above,,,
sorry i coudnt give you more postive info but in London its all about the cat A,,,,,
if your lucky then expect to pay £250 -£270 for an oz! for something thats just ok,,..
close ya eyes and ya could be in New York City with those prices

I'm here for last 8 months and basically what I can say is that the weed is almost good as in Amsterdam. Mostly Amnesia Haze, Cheese, sometimes Blue Cheese, once I had Lemon Haze.

About prices it's true... it's soooo overpriced... typically £10 per 0.7-0.8g ("they" call it 1/8th - lol). Oz no less than £220 if you know a right pal. I never smoked hash here so can't say a word about it.

It's my humble opinion about scene here or I am very lucky here - dunno. Cheers!

The weed being nearly as good as amsterdam is no benchmark. Amsterdam quality is shocking nowadays.

Mostly here is Amnesia, Cheese, Lemon like you say.

Thanks for all the help and ideas guys. I don't know anyone there and going with my wife on a company trip. She works for a publisher that has an office there. I'm hoping to make three days without ripping someone's head off before I can make it to Ansterdam.

The pills at a dispensary mixed in with vitamins is a good idea as I have my medical card and can get those easy. Was also thinking Cheba chews. I'm not am eatible guy I like flowers and hash.

I don't mind the price as its temporary for me and will allow me to have a better time there in London.

It will be interesting to see the quality difference. I've been smoking here since the 90's and we have good bud in SoCal.

I'll be going to WA state at the end of this month to spread my dads ashes and weed is reqrealtional legal there. 21 and over your go to go like beer. So I'll get to try their smoke in WA while I'm there.

Do not buy from a street dealer, you will get ripped off in some way either with terrible weed or a tiny amount for your money. Cannabis is something you really need to know someone for, having said that if you fancy your chances, best bet would be to ask someone (if they appear friendly) smoking in a pub garden/club outdoor smoking area etc. maybe they will sell you a joint or something
