hey peeps..

i was wondering if anyone here can tell me why this is happening to my plant??

im regenerating this plant because it was the nicest female out of my last crop...

i cut her buds off and stuck her straight back into 24/0 light, and onto a veg feed, i thought that i would have to wait like a week before i seen any new growth appear, but it started pretty much immediately!!

but what i want to know is why all the new growth that has come thru has lost the serated edges that cannabis leaves usually have>??

u can see what i mean from the pictures...

any ideas guys/girls??

any help is much appreciated...

That is just fine, no need to worry when you have clones taken in flower or regened growth its very common for it to come through deformed at first...that leaf shape is quite common i have had it happen my self, it will go back to normal in time...peace

ive seen pictures of plants like this before but i just wasnt sure why it was doing this... i knew it had something to do with the plant having to revert back to vegetative...

what i found quite amazing is that as soon as this plant went back into 24/0 light it immediately started growing new shoots... i thought that i would have to wait at least a week before seeing anything in the way of new growth but like i said it just went right back into veg spitting out these rounded leaves with no serations all over the veg that i left on the plant...

it was the same when i flipped to 12/12... i vegged this specific plant for 6 weeks before going onto 12.12, and she acctually showed her primordia whilst she was still in veg... anyway when i put her into 12/12 flowering started almost instantly with her to... ive always waited about 2 weeks to see all the bud sites start to form.. but by the end of the first week she was completely covered in pistils!!

this is one of the reasons why i wanted to reveg her in the first place... once there is enough new shoots im gonna take a bunch of clones from her, and just keep her in veg permanently... she will make the perfect mom!!

I've revegged a couple of times and the single unserrated leaves are perfectly normal for the first growth. Isn't amazing how fast the plant grows back.

When it starts to look pretty healthy, I trim the rootball back to the size of a baseball and repot. Then stand back and watch her grow

I run 24/7 lighting until I repot then switch to 18/6 to promote better root development.

all the newest tips that are coming thru have went back to normal now...

shouldnt be long now til i can take some clones from her...

purple stems. looks like lack of nutes... give them some nutes... even npk

check your ph too. RUn off water or in the soil is the best way.

ive talked to Mike from mandala seeds,,, and he said that purple stems is a trait of this strain.,. and that its perfectly normal...

i feed her with bio grow every time i water,,,

i wont be flowering this plant for a while yet... i want to keep her for a mom for a bit...

though i dont think i will be keeping her around for to long... maybe just long enough to do a couple grows of clones from her...

i wanted to ask... can someone tell me if it is OK for me to take a clone from this regenerated plant... and to grow that clone out, and then take clones from her???

what im asking is, is it ok to take clones from a clone??

i was told from someone on another weed growing forum that the strains decreases in potency if u take clones from a clone??

i figured that this is a lot of nonsence, because i cant see why this would affect the potency it anyway at all.... isnt a clone just an exact replica of the plant that it came of off??

i just wanted to chec k see if anyone can tell me if this is false or what??
