![]() Yes this one is onions but slightly more garlic than onion. Chemmy background but the combination of spices makes it smell like Sunday dinner at grandma's house. As far as lineage I would be just guessing. 2 bagseeds from the same nug turned out to be 1 male and 1 female. This is one of the their kids. All the kids had this weird spicy smell, but this one just stood out. So I kept it and passed it.

I have a Guerrero strain that has that garlic/onion smell. I love it! it's more sativa then this one.
are you going to stabilize this one? or just make cuts? |

The original cross was an experiment that turned up a pretty interesting terpene combination and I would like to be able to select from a larger population of food smellers.
So I am deffo gonna try and get this smell locked down in seed form and go from there.

As long as it reminds you of grandma I can dig it.

Here are some of the remarks I made about this cultivar while I was testing them out. #1 "Super potent, very racy, not for beginner smokers. A seasoned grower refused to finish the blunt with me. He said it was to "heady" for his liking. I am more of a sativa(nld) guy so it was my go to jar.The smell is garlic and onion with a hint of beefiness. Actually a little more earthy and gamy than beef, more like deer meat in onions and garlic with a touch of anise seeds. Imagine "french onion soup" weed, with the cheese on top and all. Not fuel at all, but still loud as hell tho. Here's the kicker tho, it tastes nothing like it smells. The taste is like a sweet, creamy (not fuely) sour strain. When my gf said "it tastes like a vanilla wafer", I definitely could get that on the exhale. There is something about how stank it is, yet how sweet it tastes that really makes you run through a jar." #2 It smells like french onion soup. It tastes like a creamy sour strain. Like a Durian fruit, I have never had Durian but from the description of "rotten onion, terpentine, gym socks and almond" with a creamy, fruity and sweet taste. I feel they way the smell and taste of each differ so much, they may be similar
