Shanti,on another board a member claims SSH is Sensi's verision of Jack Herer I say he is wrong,can you help??
 His claim is because the ancestors are the same the plant is the same.

Same genetics but not the same strain..Skunk Haze nl but bred differently..SSH is better imo...peace

Jack Herrer is (NL5xHaze) X Skunk #1
Super Silver Haze is (NL5xHaze) X (Skunk #1xHaze)... SSH is much sweeter and hazier (obviously, it contains more haze) JH generally has a softer/spicy/hashy kinda taste to it... but both will have a lot of variation and will probobly have a few phenos that are pretty similar... JH is an F1, i don't think SSH is... both are top notch... if you prefer skunkier go with JH, if you prefer hazier go with SSH... you can't go wrong between these two, anyone who knows anything will tell you the same... edit: i think you got it mixed up though... Jack Herrer is made by Sensi, Super Silver Haze is Shanti's...

SSH blows Jack out of the water, imo. if you are looking for a kick ass sativa, ssh is absolutely top-shelf.

I think that the SuperSilverHaze from Mr.Nice is a cross of (Skunk x NevilleHaze) X (NL x NevilleHaze), so the Haze is more powerfull than any others as Neville is working with Shanti. Less (powerfull) Haze in the JH ...
I have two pheno's of SSH always in my garden as it is my day fuel |

I have read it somewhere on a forum that it was NevilleHaze used in that cross (when compaired to the Greenhouse version), but I don't know if that is a fact, you could be wright that there is no NevilleHaze used. Never had the chance to grow the Mr.Nice NevilleHaze... so I can not compare.
I am in search to the best hazes arround, have tried several strains and SSH is for sure a very strong Haze that always will keep a place in my garden. |

if i remember correctly, wasn't ssh out before nh? i have grown and smoked both and they are both hazey, but they are definately different.
machaze, if you are into the hazes, definately try the nevilles. it takes forever, but damn is it good! i have some of jlp's nh/ssh going now so i will see how they are together soon enough. |

OK, first
It is not "Neville's Haze" that is used in the cross, its the haze, of neville. lol. Jack Herer is NOT (NL#5 x Haze) x skunk#1 Sensi's confirmed " 50%Haze, 37.5% NL#5, 12.5% Skunk#1 " Wich lead us to think neville (yes, neville, he is the one who bred JH in the first place) done a BX1 x BX1 hybrid. (NL#5 x (NL#5 x Haze) x ( Skunk#1 x Haze) x Haze) However sensi "improved" the JH over the year so they likely inbred it one or two time... (IMO, probably because Neville have got the fuck out with at least one of the parent plant.... so they "F2" & maybe "F3" the JH seeds that where left.) SSH is a better option for the customer, period. BUT, JH has a bit of instability and if you are growring a good damn lot of them, you could certainly find some REAL winners in the bunch. |
