Thank you everyone. I will be commenting on the rest of the strains in the order they finished so the Panama will be next followed by the Zam.

Totally agree. Good social high , not racy or too over powering . Good to have with a few drinks and not get totally F#cked up.

Destroyer
One thing though I've noticed , it doesn't have too much of a ceiling . You definitely get higher the more you have. Would be great for edibles.

Panama Smoke Report
I took this one just about 14 weeks under LED. She grew with no problem and feed until first 6 weeks of flower because she was hungry. She was a bit leafy compared to the destroyer but was also much more productive. I think once I dial her in (i had issues between week 8-10) she will produce nicely. The smell was mostly lemony and incense during flower with a hint of spice.
5 day dry time and almost 4 weeks cure in glass jar. The grind of the bud releases a marvelous lemon incense with a spicy haze twist and a strong smell of marijuana from the 80’s. Nothing like the modern cannabis nowadays with the boutique smells and flavor. It smells like old school sativas from years gone by….classic nose! The dry pull on the joint confirms the classic nature of the strain and makes you smile even before you light it. With the first pull it reminds me of good Colombian that was around in the 80’s when I first started smoking. The taste is simply something you don’t find often anymore…this is a real treat. The smoke is full bodied and the spice and haze twist comes through initially with a lemony bottom end that make the smoke taste really rich with great mouth feel. Adding to the experience is the smoke that comes off this girl…incense delight. It fills the room with the incense smell that ties the experience nicely. The effect start slowly with a heady effect that works its way to my eyes making them droop. It takes less than ten minutes and a warm sensation flows from your head down the back of my legs. She puts a grin on my face; I feel the eyes a bit heavier and a thick headiness but no grogginess whatsoever. That is the great thing about the Panamanian girl…she doesn’t knock you out. You function and actually feel like doing stuff but with droopy eyes and a stupid grin on your face… I love it! The first half of a joint gets you nice but if you continue to smoke the head effect intensify to the point of face pressure and ringing ears. You feel as if you are walking in a dream but everything is happy and colorful. The visual effect is unrestrained and I feel as if my peripheral vision has expanded and I can see everything…very nice trippy element for sure. Aside from the pulsing sensation in the back of my legs this thing is all head. You are alert but calm…very calm and chill. Your environment suddenly becomes very interesting and I found myself wanting to touch things for the tactile sensation alone. The main effect last about an hour and half but as she wind down you feel relaxed and alert and clears nicely…no sleepiness. I used this on late in the afternoon and even into early evening and she didn’t interfere with my sleep. This is not as clear as the destroyer but I like the effect better. Both are very happy effects and no paranoia and you don’t notice your heart rate at all. This was a very nice surprise for me and this one will definitely stay in my garden for a while. Potency: 8.5/10. Although it doesn’t put you into a tailspin, taking too much does disorient you and I found myself walking into room but forgetting why. Reading anything takes focus because everything becomes incoherent at higher doses. Taste: 9.5/10 for me there is just nothing better than that old school taste. Something about hazy/spicy herb with a limonene twist is irresistible. Effect: 9/10. I think I said it all. IMO, if you don’t like this strain there maybe something wrong with you…lol. I cant believe I hadn't tried this until now. ps...i thought I had snapped some bud pics but I cant seem to find them. Ill post some later own. |
