Herb.IQ Grol log software questions?
Hey Everyone,
I stumbled across this app and have been tinkering with it. https://sourceforge.net/projects/herbiq/ I would love to hear from anyone else that is using this app. I kept paper logs for a few years and thought it was helpful but cumbersome and inefficient. When I moved into my new space I stopped logging. Now, almost a year later, I realize how valuable those logs were. I am excited about PC based logging. One key function is missing though... I have also been playing with PC based environmental monitoring and control. Take a look at: https://www.phidgets.com/ The Herb.IQ app is open source and could be modified to include: light, temp, RH, pH and TDS logging. Unfortunately, my Fortran and Cobol skills are mostly forgotten and generally useless in the modern world... Anyone out there, with programming skills from this century, that would have interest in looking at modding this software? Thanks FJ Last edited by JamesFarmer; 02-23-2016 at 05:49 PM.. |

It looks pretty cool but I just manually keep a log in an excel spreadsheet, I think it does everything I need and lets me record whatever I want, but automating the process would be really cool
