Same here I'm going to grow one outdoors this year, and was curious about the impressions this Cola de Borrego has made so far in the fellow sativa seekers.
Sinaloa, the man himself, the source of the seeds, who has 20 or more years of experience with this line, says to look for the yellow phenotype. I hope to find a promising seedling among 5 seeds I'm planning to start indoors and select 1 to transplant outdoors.
So, anyone who has given this oldschool line a try?

Wouldn't it be said of him that he went up and came back with his eyes corrupted, and that it's not even worth trying to go up? And if they were somehow able to get their hands on and kill the man who attempts to release and lead up, wouldn't they kill him?"

A++ landrace sativa. Nice branching, quite big colas and very nice smell in late flowering which I could describe as sourish, pissy and lemon. Chopped 2nd week of October. The only real issue was mold as I had to get rid of some middle parts. High is very clear-headed, focused, stimulating and feelgood.

She looked like that:

Hey man thx! I've been over there for a while, but I thought I could drop few lines here too This season no landraces cause I got too much of my own or given seeds, but next year I'm gonna run Colombians side by side for sure

Ah Jarilla has another wimpy pheno which hermies from time to time and it did on me. This one is weaker and less interesting in general also has more of a woodsy/incensey smell in flowering

Glad I found this thread.

I need at least one good Mexican strain for my personal seed bank.

The flowering time is reasonable at 12 - 14 weeks.

Just found another thread with nice pics.

mexico, jarilla de sinaloa

Thanks Charlie.

With Jarilla you should be in the zone, she's quite quick.
