I haven't pulled this one out the bag in years.. I obsessed over Dobson's music for a long.. long time. So much frustration.. So much adderall. Shit broke me. Straight up.
I do a pretty bad ass Motion Potion and Wash Away though. My Level 5 and 30 ain't too bad either. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PTO5XdvXd1I https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPY8JYqkLms https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ys5vRrKp47s |

I can tell you are happy when you play lol I feel you on the mechanical feeling practicing and learning a piece can give you. Sometimes though I would learn a piece and playing it felt so good that I would just play it over and over! You may not enjoy the growls - but if you look up the solos from the band necrophagist it's some good stuff! that's what I enjoyed playing, but I'm not sure if you are into the same music - The band Obscura has some really cool playthroughs on youtube if you want to learn something different or new. They have great form and play really clean - I like playing acoustic as well but this is my favorite style to play, tell me what you think I'm sure you could play this as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZAJJATb9Xf0 |

Love it. I study a lot of metal too. Just a modern take on classical music. I think you'll enjoy this next one.. I'll never forget going to see Dobson live and having him instantly snap into blood and ice after I screamed it at him from the audience like a drunken fan boy.
https://youtu.be/MBvAvW6KQDk I'll also never forget how Stefano Barone tried to fuck my date the next day. I took my lifelong crush (blonde blue swede mostly comprised of ass and tits) to go see Dobson, Barone, and Pearson in the city, since she always talked about wanting to "marry Barone", and the fackin skeezeball invited her out to "party" at his hotel in Minneapolis the following day. I was begged to accompany her, but since I was working, she decided to drive up there alone so this little Italian b-hole could try and molester her. I guess they "kissed" and then he tried to get her to go swimming in her undies, and then she left.. but who knows what really happened. Fakin guy. Brilliant composer though. https://youtu.be/wDFP_MbvyGc Pearson is the reason I don't take what little talent I have seriously anymore. https://youtu.be/e4L6Iz7VQt8 Last edited by Bobby Boucher; 03-26-2017 at 04:25 PM.. |

I play for me no one makes it cry and sing like Mark Knoppler, no one gives it as much grunt and clarity at the same time as Malcom young and well Stevie Ray the guys just a freak. Some great tips in this thread. My tip would be pick it up every day and spend some time on scales and technique every time you do. After that do what you feel.

I play guitar before and have band during school days. I really miss that days, when we go to concert play our composition after that we smoke and drink a lot. Now everything is gone of course we need to get money for our family and unfortunately without a regular gig it's really hard for a musician.
