S.A.D. Fast Version

Just curious, but if I do this one outdoors this year - will it flower under 18/6 light? Can I clone from this photoperiod?

Any issues vegging it under lights and putting it outside? I had a problem with Serious 6 last year - plants started flowering and then stopped putting them out late May. Went from 24/7 -> 18/6 2 weeks and then outdoors.

Any recommendation there?

I like to put them out as large as reasonably possible.

Hi fella!
You can clone and you could also keep it as a mother...
I think the best option is growing them indoor with the complete cycle, (veg and flowering) to get the best mother, taking the clones from her.
You can give them a vegetative time indoors and you can put them outside in the final place in May or early June and I'm sure you will get big plants without problems.
Don't forget to share your experience if you decide to grow this nice variety

It's already been decided. Gonna give it a go.

*edit*

I should mention I'm around 49th parallel in BC.

Being this far north shouldn't be a problem then?

the only problem is the cold Temperatures and maybe the amount hours of light.

Can you tell me how many hours of direct sunlight do you have?
Cheers!

I grow in full sun... my spot is excellent for the region. About as good as it gets in Canada.

Avg temp is around 15C in Sept. We've been having warmer Sept's than that though. There are a tonne of micro climates in my area because of the mountains. I've run Anesthesia from Whaz successfully multiple years here but there are no more seeds available it's a Herijuana x Super Skunk hybrid.

There's a chart for the area (daylight)... I'm not in Victoria but I'm not that far away.

It's a 7b (red) on the plant grow zone chart for my country if that means anything to you.

Small update, will take a picture soon. So far so good though.

One big "problem" however... it's growing too fast lol.

Seriously though at this point it is gonna be way too big for my tent in a couple months.

Will be taking a clone/topping so that should slow it up a bit.

Cheers my friend!

Yes, that's the right thing to do, taking cuts from the taller branches. Then if you need extra plants you can root the cuts. Or you can also do some LST to lower the taller branches and get more of a bushy plant. If you have good climate in late April maybe you could but it outdoors earlier than usual this year, but that's up to you and if you had positive experiences in the past years then it's really better to repeat the procedures that led you to the positive results.

Keep us updated. All the best and sweet smokes!
