Fast, discreet drying methods?

Hey there!

I am in need of either a very easy to conceal long (1 week+) drying method, or a very fast drying method (1-2days or less). Smell is also an issue with discreetness

I cannot hang dry in a cool dark place sadly, options I was looking into are:

Sun drying (A how-to would be great)
Dry ice (im not sure how expensive this stuff is but it seems like a good option)

I am willing to compromise the quality of the bud for speed / safety, if anyone has any other alternatives or a good guide to sun dry, please post away

weave some string into a big cardboard box, hang dry from last bud on stem, put a mini fan in there and make some holes for vetilation, by mini fan i mean a little handheld toy fan, just want air to move, as for smell, get some oust and spray=cheap!!

fill a paper lunch sack halfway loosely w bud, & toss it on your computer monitor where it vents heat (crt monitors)..
lay something over the papersack like a magazine or something, its like slow roasted popcorn, in 24hrs or a bit more, it'll be quick dried...i had to do it last week , worked fine

edit: and if you just want a fast taster bud only, just toss a bud on the monitor and put a piece of paper over it, 6-8 hours later it is smokeable also.. dries single buds like that quick

I use the lawn waste paper bags, the 3ft long ones. In a pinch, you can put one plant in fresh cut, and close the top but leave a bit open for air to enter and leave. Then just put it away for a week out of sight and mind, there is enough air in the bag and the paper handles any excess moisture as long as it can breathe. No quality compromise either.

Hello,

when plants are ripe then do not water anymore! It ain't simpler than that. Another possibility is to buy some dessicant (calcium-chloride or silica-gel) and leave it with your buds in a sealed box.

I have the Excalibur 2900 food dehydrator. https://www.everythingkitchens.com/fooddehydrators.html
I have put around 8oz in it at once and that was with taking out every other tray to dry big buds. If you cut your buds down smaller, you can prolly get a little over a pound in it. The beauty of this machine is that you can turn the temp down to around 85deg.
I put it in my grow cabinet so my carbon filter takes care of the smell. It can be used for a very quick dry in 6hrs or over a longer time by using a timer to cut the unit on every few hours for a few minutes. My most recent harvest was dryed over 4 days with the unit cutting on for 15min every 3hrs.
