The Inferno Haze pheno hunt and observatory
Do you like haze?
I like haze Never grown out an OG, I've probably killed quite a few, but now all thats left is this freebie Jupiter OG I got that I almost killed. I have low expectations but high hopes. On other new the green crack clone I got is looking dank af. I'd post some pics but I'm kinda new here so a walk through would be nice, otherwise ya'll have to wait til I look it up later. Oh shit I just realized we way tangented over the topic. The Inferno Haze f2. GGG hooked me up with about 15 of these. "The Diamonds & Dust collection provides endless selection. Our most prized mothers and fathers reunited through sun and wind in natural open pollination.” Translation-These are now F2, not F1 Inferno Haze, hence why they are less than half the price of a strain like “Golden Gage” (which was gonna be my first choice). So I am expecting quite a bit of variety here. In the next few months we will be looking at all 15 (excluding the male). I will be looking for 2 pheno’s here. One a very hazey pheno that will flower in 12 weeks or over with lots of stretch, so match my res I use for Sativas. The other one is an afghan/og dominate one with little stretch and a 8-10 week flower time to fit in my indica/hybrid res. Stay tuned for a look at IH phenos and the hunt fo dat elite. In the fine state of WA, it's going down. |

Nice and thank you! I was pretty hesitant ordering from GGG due to prices (discovered ****** not to long ago so his site and gear has been taking most of my stuff as well as Ace due to their wide variety of sativas. GGG has alot of grape which isnt one of my fav flavors lma).
The name sounded cool and I like the parents on the IH though, this is my first grow so I'm excited. Plus I love exploring so I'm excited to see all the different variety. I'm adding another veg unit (bleaching buckets right now) so I'll post some shots once I get it set up and move my plants around a bit. |

Okay now that were a couple weeks in lets get started....
I had a contamination and had a really high PH for a few days til I noticed and fixed it, a few strains suffered alot, but the IH were the quickest to recover..... I planted them a week after other seeds and they are already about twice in growth. I just topped them, maybe its too early from the stress they got but we'll see. So far they are taking it like a champ, won't know for sure til a couple days. They are under a 250 w CFL, temps are around 63-68, Humidity around 45%. Actually i take that back they just moved to veg unit, 4 ft T5s. |
