Can I make seeds from a cutting showing flower with no roots? Will I be able to continue the revegetated or will that effectively end that life cycle?

You took cuttings, put them in water, put them on 12/12 to reveal sex... am I right so far? I have done that and it works great.
I never tried to see how long they would keep flowering though. Do you have some pollen? Give it a try. |

No... I took some cutting after sexing, I didn't think they had roots but they have hairs... Now i know they do have roots, So if I hit them with some pollen will that end the life cycle or will I be able to get them to reveg and grow them out some while the seeds develop and then flower??

I really don't know. I do think the failure IMO will be the seed not maturing. The plant will reveg because they do even with some buds on them.
So it is a free, no harm, no foul experiment. |

How big is your lil plant?
If you pollenate every calyx, chances are that the plant will not reveg as it puts it's energy toward reproduction. However, if you grow the plant out and want to pollenate the preflowers, that's totally do-able & wont have much of an effect on the rest of the plant. A lil side story: I had some cuts sitting in water last summer. Some ladies & some gents. The gents got all horny looking down at the ladies and shot their loads. Needless to say, the ladies got pregnant & made a few seeds... like 3. Lol! The ladied never developed roots but i kept the stems in tap water. Sooo... to answer your original question... YES! |
