I recently recieved a generous donation from a friend of mine.

I recieved (4) 400w Matal Halide Bulbs

-2 GE 400w MH
-1 Sylvania 400w Metalarc MH
-1 Westinghouse 400w MH DLX WHT (coated)

1st pic - all bulbs together, first two seem done with, correct?
(back-ups if needed)
2nd pic - westinghouse bulb damaged? the metal piece is unattached
to the top of the bulb as where the other is still attached.
3rd pic - metal piece inside of the bulb.

question are these bulbs usable?
I am having trouble reading some of them to see if they
are upright, vertical, or both? anyone know for sure their
burning position? I have included what is readable on the bulbs
in the first pic.

no one can help me?

I am sure the westinghouse bulb is an older bulb but I can't
seem to find any info on it not even at the manufacturers
website :(

install them, if they work, they work, if not then they don't.

nothing you have said so far causes me any concern for your safety.

used bulbs looks used.

free bulbs are good, even if they are used.

U= univerasal burning position
BU= base up vertical position
H= horizontal

first 2 are universal
3rd is base up,
fourth is not designated, best bet would be base up
