Meet Genghis, the 35 day sativa
Okay so here's the deal. Just for shits this spring I germinated a few hundred bag seeds I had gotten from mids over the previous year and planted the best 50. I put the germed seeds right into 12/12 and some responded better than others. However I had a Sativa that finished in 42 days, and was medium yeilding and had an AMAZING high. I truely feel this is my favorite smoke out of the 50+ strains ive tried. If giving it at least one week to account for the stretch before flowering, I think I'm looking at a 35 day strain. So I reveged the plant in a 1 gal grow bag and from 2 shoots the plant exploded in reveg like nothing ive ever seen. The only downside is that it is a hard strain to clone.
Anyways, this is the start of my 2nd Genghis Grow Diary. I took the mother that was in the 1gal grow bag and threw it into an 18gal rubbermaid container under a 400W MH and vegged it for 1-1/2 weeks. I took a few cuttings from it to give to people for backups then flowered switched the light to 12/12 once again on the 14th. since switching the light cycle it has taken another growth spirt and just started flowering yesterday. I will have pics up for you all tonight of it at day 2 of flowering If this is a legit 35day sativa I will be willing to send cuttings to anyone interested free of charge to help the cause. Genghis really responds well to Low stress testing as well as FIM and SCROG, not really a SOG plant tho. Also it's extemely durable to temp. as my cab has gotten over 100*F on occasion and it hasnt stressed at all

Sounds like you're onto something. Wish that I was in a position to do a grow right now, I'd take you up on your offer there.
Best of luck, I can't wait to see some photos. |

sounds good. however there is no such thing as a 45 day sativa. its gotta be like the green crack (thin, satty style blade, sativa high, but indica flowertime and hybrid production. a gem! but leaf style does not indicate sativa. its definitely a hybrid
)a photo essay as well as a description of the finished product/high would be golden ![]() would love to give any 40 day strain a go providin she dont go herman munster on ya (after all, its still unknown bagseed) lookin forward to those pics be well

35 day sativa.. that does sound like a hybrid to me.. I'd love to see some pictures.
How did you grow out all your bagseed mids? I have a few hundred seeds I've been collecting and I just inherited a bunch from an oldschool head that I'll try and germ out. How tall where they when you culled all the ones not worth growing? |
