have you ever tried steam and eucalyptus oil?

it works really well at getting all that gunk to break up

never much needed, but getting older, may have to think about such stuff
i've pretty much done like you, toughed out a cold with not a problem
my congestions all gone, all recovered

I can clear purge myself with a good fat pure spliff.. Hold it in deep and meditate to every burn.. As you breath out the shite will come out with it.
