same here, the reeeeel tough shatter is the good stable stuff, terps locked away inside awaiting their dutiful vaporization. It seems so perfect, so complete, like goldy locks ;-) not over purged, not under purged. Shelf stable indefinitely, yet who can resist vape'n it till its all gaaaawn. . . . :-D . . .

I've ran over a pound of high grade bud in around 75 extractions, and I get around 20% every time.. Sometimes it's more or less but not enough to make it a hard thing to determine and actually be accurate.. I run about 10.5 grams a week, every week for my own personal pleasure, and it always dances between 0.6-7 on the scale every time, which is right at 20% return.. I used to hit each batch with butane 3 times, to make sure I got everything, but I found with experience, that I don't need everything, like chlorophyll and fatty oils & waxes from the plant matter... The only oils n waxes I want it's the kind that gets u high... So now I only hit it with the butane twice. Once, then I push the bud out the tube, mix & crush it up a bit more, repack it (half as tight as the 1st time, and hit it again till the yellow is gone.. My numbers remain the same even still, I.was right.. I also found that when you're running more than an eighth, u get more, or at least all you're supposed to get, if u split the bud up into eighths or less and do multiple runs instead of doing it all at once. Like if u were running a half oz, youd get the Max yield possible by doing 4 separate runs, instead of one big one, & hit each eighth twice with the tane. Don't believe me, try & see. U got nothin to lose.. Yes it takes 4x longer.. Whoopty fuckin doo! Don't be such a lazy fuck.. Go the extra mile, itll pay off, & u won't run out of gas, I promise. Well butane maybe lol. Just always but 2 cans... Even then tho you'll still never have enough & always gonna need more.. I kno I do..

10.5gs @ 10% = 1.05 grams. Better check that math bud.

Anyone try blasting into a pyrex lined with one of those Oil Slick Mats yet? Gonna pick one up and give it a shot. Looks like it might work pretty well.

I blast a 1/4 of bud of OG cut up and i am getting 2 to 2.4 grams of wax. using about half can of tain.
