Thats actually the thread I was looking for when I found this one. I actually like this one better though because as you said the OG one was way to hear for my newbie ass to understand.

na it was understandable - it just liked the fact that it teaches u how to make a really small bonsai style mom and he explained it almost step by step day by day - it was very logical.

I'd definitely like to see that. I was never sure if I wanted to keep mothers or not, but this way makes it look nice and simple, I'd love to see the other thread from OG.

Well I really wasnt trying to say that the thread was not undertstandable, just that to someone who had not even finished 1 grow, it was very hard to grasp at times. It was a good thread though from what I remember.

Diluting the strain?Its been over 2 years now and the strain is not diluted trust me,I know someone that has a strain going for 5 years now.As long as you take all your cuttings in veg starting with the original seedplant you can go as long as you want and all this talk about degradation is just that,talk.

you can keep bonsai mums for a long time as long as you take care of them. Proper feedings and maintaining them (root trimmings, regualr cuttings, etc..).
