Help picking one? Scott's OG, Star Killer, 501st OG, Lee Roy, Rare Dankness...
Hi all!
I want to order some OG Kush seeds to see what all the fuss is about! Can you help me decide which one to pick? I can choose between: - 501st OG - Scott's OG - Lee Roy - Rare Dankness (not #1, the one with Grape Ape crossed in) - Star Killer - Blue Ox El Jefe was also available somewhere. Just want a good representative of the OG Kush family to find out if it is really that great compared to all the other strains I have. Rare Dankness, Star Killer and Blue Ox have the added benefit of fruit/berry flavors which I like. Skywalker also always interested me but I won't buy from Dutch Passion, ever. Any opinions and suggestions from people familiar with these strains are welcome! |

Scott's OG and Starkiller are some of my favorite strains ever. Can't go wrong with either one of those I don't think. Rare Darkness and Blue Ox will be fruitier strains, the others will be more OG.

I'm running LeeRoy TK right now but the verdict is out on if I would recommend it over any of the others. The Starkiller and Scott's OG are safe bets and look pretty fire any time you see a pic of one, plus the owner of Rare Dankness (Scott) name that OG after himself so that would be his favorite. A lot of these strains are going to be your vineyer OG structured plants so I don't know if that will be a deal breaker for you or not. Just know you will be training them. I know that Avinash.Miles spoke very highly of any of the crosses with the Ox in them as well.

Starkiller just placed at the LA high times cup, if that would mean anything to you.

Recently finished a run of Star Killer that I was pretty happy with, nice calming relaxing high. Could definitely feel the Skywalker OG for sure. Ran mine with organic soil and teas. My grow log goes from seed to harvest. Check it out if you're so inclined:

the Scotts and Leeroy are TK based where 501 and Starkiller are Skywalker based
usually the Skywalker tends to be a hair sturdier than the TK/ straight OG's That being said- ill never give up my Scott's Og
